I mean he'll have his sunshine personality for sure, but after the events of KH3 I think he's gonna be toned down a little bit

I mean Nomura's anniversary art shows Sora not smiling that much

It's like he's gradually losing his smile

I didn't think about that smile thing that's good

So it's hard to tell right? All we have to go on is the one trailer, and, I'll be completely honest, this is my own headcanon and going off fan art- KH4 feels like it's gonna be a more somber game- not sad, but quiet

The long, hard road home.

Sorta that KH2 pace where in the first half and part of the second, it could he calm and quiet but tense and then it explodes with SICK action-- I don't want to say "oh we're gonna see a grown up Sora", but I definitely think he's gonna be different for parts of it.

Ive said before how Sora being so happy and cheerful is at times hinted at being a mask to cover insecurity and pain, and while there's validity in that, I do also think he's naturally an optimistic guy- he is that nice and cheerful. That's why his special power is connecting to other people and it levels him up- I mean, makes him stronger.

That being said, I have a feeling KH4 will mirror the KH2 ending but, Sora will have seen some shit where it's changed him. MoM is all about mindgames and Quadratum is a fake world so, my dog about to get his ass deconstructed 😔

Oh for sure, Sora has always been cheerful and everyone he meets is drawn to him automatically, but that video did make me see a whole new light with the previous games.

And geez bro, imagine MoM screwing with Sora and making him re-think everything
