All 4 walls of my bedroom feature Kh of some sort. Figures, posters, promotional displays, plushies, books

I will say, I do like Chrono Trigger a lot, from what I've played of it

Love the Mana series

CT is actually one of the few Active Time combat games I can actually tolerate

Chrono series was interesting

I think this pic is a bit old

But still does justice of this parasite taking over my room

I mean, the whole reason I even considered playing FF7R was because it's a Nomura project

And I simped for it earlier but FF6

FFX, for what it's worth, is my favorite FF.

Yes, but it has Nomura's design philosophy. Combat feels very similar to KH, which I like.

Glad some of the former team from the original FF7 were involved with the remake, it explains why it didn't feel off putting even though they added slightly new elements

It's definitely going to be the way I experience FF7 for the first time, that's for sure

It was a good mix of tactical and action it wasn't heavy on just one aspect of each which is perfect

The main thing putting me off from the original (besides ATB) is the graphics. I don't have any nicer way of putting besides...they're hideous. So hideous, in fact, I can't take the game seriously. Cloud looks more like a Muppet than a human being!

Oh yeah for sure😂
Pixel chibis just in 3d

Games like this are why I think the industry adopted polygonal graphics a little too quickly. Never mind the inherent problem of trying to convey a 3D environment on a 2D screen; which still hasn't been fully solved, by the way.

I've learned to live with 3D since then, but any kind of 3D game that requires any kind of precision from me I just can't stand. Especially platformers. Like, yeah, you can get a vague idea of where you are in a 3D space, but without depth perception, you'll never know exactly where you are.

Unlike with 2D games, where this isn't an issue.

I mean yeah 7 looks bad by today standards but it's still an awesome game

Don't let graphics distract

7 looks bad by ANY standards. Making it 3D was not the right call.

??????????????
