opinion on ending, don't know what need spoiler here

that has to be the worst ragnarok ever, so bad, rush through useless trash mobs, beat a fat drunk then beat an old man, wow... very letdown by this... i thought we were going to fight it then no freyr just do the american sacrifice and game is over... definitely not my goty at all, a good game that ends with a wet fart

I can definitely agree that the level was dragged out to extend runtime, but the worst? nah man come on.

like the previous game, the optional/end game stuff is very nice, was not much to grind for the plat trophy, just the fking birds and that one chest i looked around for 30 minutes in the desert

Sony needs to do more limited controllers like the one they did for GOW, this goes hard

I can understand how some folks felt the final boss was underwhelming, but, cinematically, it was pretty satisfying imo

Ragnarok was just perfect, just finished. Now to do the remaining content.

Egypt coming

It's either they come attack first cause of what Kratos has been doing or they go there

Mind you if Norse gods know about Kratos and what he did I'm sure the other gods do too

I hope so- they were originally do Egypt, it was very close, but they decided on Norse.

At this point with how its set up they could do a side game for Artreus, like a Ascension type of game.

So it's a funny story- David Jaffe, director/creator of the first game, originally wanted the sequel to be a Norse game starring the Norse mythologies respective "Kratos" equivalent, and the third one Egypt.

Then in the third one, they all team up, and, when they win, it would turn out the 3 Kratos' were actually the 3 Wise Men. From The Bible.

They do confirm multiple mythological pantheon exist as early as GOW 2, but, in the 2018 installment, an Egyptian helmet is on display. Concept art exists for the proposed Egyot installment, and like I said, they almost went with it, before Norse was decided on. From what I here it was pretty close.
