But it's kinda like how in the Jap version of COM, Axel said some curse words like "Sora gave me one hell of a show" and when he said to Vexen before he killed him "I think it's time for you to shut the hell up". So yeah, it's kinda like that. But Disney soon found out about that after a whike and threatened Square they will cancel the series if they did that again.

Going to copypaste a post I saw on GameFAQs regarding this type of thing (different point of the game, same concept) That's...not true at all, actually. The Japanese line had no reference to a "hell" or anything like it whatsoever. But he was shocked, rude, and rough, and the "hell" translation is one way of conveying that. Another, more natural, way is through expression and tone alone, which is the path the official translation took. The same basic thing. "What are you?" But there's a little bit of a schism between Japanese and English. Things work a little differently. For example, in English, we really only have one word for "you." "You" is "you," no matter who you're talking to. If you want to use the word with respect, disdain, or anything else, really, you'd express it with your face, your body language, and your tone of voice. But in Japanese, the "you" you'd use for a superior isn't the same "you" you'd use for an equal, which isn't the same "you" you'd use for a subordinate. Your feelings are built into the words themselves. And when talking to the Organization, Sora always uses the more rough-and-tumble, demanding, disrespectful forms of the words. Some translators try to convey that in English by adding in swearing. Which is okay sometimes, but it also adds in a level of vulgarity and shock value that's not there in the Japanese version. The Japanese version is disrespectful, but not vulgar. Which "you people" screamed through a scowl conveys perfectly. To use another example: - To the Organization, Sora says, "Out with it, Nobody!! Where's Riku!? Where's Kairi!?" - But to his friends, he says, "Well...um...I'm looking for my friends. Riku and Kairi?" - Which are both very starkly different from a theoretical "****!
