My stories...crumbling to sand between my fingers as I try to grasps each chapter of them..engulfed by this empty bordom what can I do? What could ever strike my mind from such blood-shattering bore?! I've lost imagination...

I've felt this way before, do not fret! Simply find newer things that can possibly give you inspiration, even in small bursts. Of course, such things can be found anywhere, and you can simply stumble upon them and not know what you're looking at. Just wait a little bit, everyone has writers block ;D Eventually you will have the will to write again!

You must rekindle the passion you have for story writing my friend. I was in the same position a few months ago, but the three things helped me regain my imagination.

1. Listening to music. I have no idea why this gave me some imagination, but music just filled me with ideas.

2. Reading other peoples stories. This helped me a lot, because knowing that they could write a good story inspired me to finish my own stories.

3. Self-motivation. You have to tell yourself that you want your imagination back (not as easy as it sounds). You have to spend time focusing on what you want to create, putting every once of brain power into that, and into nothing else.

These are the steps I took my friend. Hopefully they work for you.

Thanks mates, soon I hope my stories may be read once more on these forums..

You need to do something to get it back, something new, exetreme, something you thought u would never do, go on a trip, somewhere emotional yet beautiful just do go like double rainbow guy pls :)

When I was writing my story, I often took long breaks. Eventually, you will regain interest. Besides, by taking a break, you have a better chance of finding, doing, seeing, etc. something that will give you inspiration. Also, don't force yourself to write, it won't work out that well (trust me), let it come naturally, and enjoy it. Hope I helped. ;)

Improvise! Just write, doesn't matter what it is or if it even makes sense. Eventually "I think fruit loops will destroy us all" for example, can be sculpted into somthing good!

I simply wonder on what little fans I have on my novel series will think of me if I take my constant small breaks between chapters.

Well, the few people who commented on my story didn't seem to mind (except for the occasional post asking if I was going to continue), though I can see where your coming from.

Where ya been? I've missed you and no, your stories are great! Maybe you can read some books, play new games, go out in your town and explore, talk to some friends and help spark new ideas.

I've lost inspiration in my hobbies I like to do from time to time. D; It's very hard to get it back for me.

I usually try to listen to music which was probably said and see if anything can inspire me to start up again. If that doesn't work for you maybe go out in the real world, go see your friends and hang out with them! Maybe something you see with them or something you do will inspire you and give you some new ideas to put into your work. :3

I read your stories a while ago, I liked them. I haven't gotten to recently though. I really do need to catch up on them D;

Like Hell i'd quit.

fool. Then you've only got one option left, huh?

  • Author

Most possibly, but I dream of becoming a great author someday, so therefore, I shall not quit.
