I love how og FF7 fans on Reddit tried to gaslight me in the past 2 years that Tifa can't tell anyone about Cloud talking bs and now that it happened it seems like people universally agree that the entire scene is better than in og because of it. My god it's so much better and it also improves the relationship between Aerith and Tifa

graphics mode imo lacks only motion blur

it has the opposite issue of ff16's one

I hope for 7R-3 and XVII they go for 30 fps graphics mode, 40 fps performance mode and 60 fps performance mode

Why would you want 30 and 40..?

Well those will be ps6 so it'll be better hopefully

their performance modes in rebirth and 16 are just not good

rebirth because it looks too ugly

and 16 because it doesn't run in 60 fps

other ps5 games put both of these games to shame

but SE is still better than from software at least

SE's 30 fps graphics modes are probably some of the best though

16 had a lot of new stuff going for it in terms of lighting and shadows

How come when DaZ complained about 16's graphics everyone acted like he was being unreasonable but now here we are talking about it like we all knew it the whole time?

I still find it too look great

because most of the complaints were prelaunch and I still think 16 looks better than Rebirth in a lot of ways

Now looking at rebirth it still holds up being pretty

but in defense of rebirth it's an open world game

so it definitely comes with some downgrades

Cause 16 looked like it was barely holding together in its "open zone" sections

I think overall they are equally good Rebirth's art direction carries the game a lot but I think 16 does the lighting better and I miss certain interactions with the environment in Rebirth

From a graphics mode stand point between both yes 16 looks better cause of the technics they used

rebirth so far has no crazy shit like the wood section in 16

also the fire effects look horseshit

compared to 16

water and waves too

but that's the disadvantage of being an open world game

so comparing both of them is a little bit unfair imo

oh and people were right about Nibelheim btw

it is in fact the worst looking part of the game from what I have played so far

man all my friends hate queensblood for some reason
