I like how he actually feels mysterious again, you don't know what he's thinking, and planning- he feels like an enigma again. Clearly he has more than Cloud in his sights. Plus. I find it interesting how in OG all he talked about was Jenova but in Remake? He's so detached from her- in fact he* uses *her if you think about it.

 

I think it tells an interesting story cause his whole like he's been controlled or in the service of someone else- that's what I think he means about really "defying fate" its not just about living or dying, i think he's searching for Freedom.
