I've been thinking a lot about Kingdom Hearts recently even replayed the 2 games over the last 3 weeks and I've started to notice and wonder something about the series. I'd say it's probably been through everyone's mind. Would KHIII be the last one and if not there it feels like the series will eventually end.
Reasons:
It's sort of implied that when Sora finds a way to stop the Heartless completely he won't really "need" the Keyblade anymore and without them the series would without an antagonist and there in a point to adventure Disney worlds.
Theres a large gap between sequels like the 4 years between 1 & 2 and the fact that it's been nearly 3 years since 2 and 3 is nowhere in sight, maybe their building up to something? (Note I know theres spin-offs but their not the main series)
How many Disney worlds can they add and revisit before it gets kind of old and pointless?
Also another thing it's getting old redoing the 1st game COM & Coded.
