Okay, I think I finally understand this game. lol So at the end of the trailer, Sora and Riku pull out their keyblades to battle Xemnas/Ansem, but if you look closely, you can see Ansem inside Xemnas, like he's see through. And it's the same with Ansem and Xemnas. But maybe Yen Sid is using to use them to make Sora and Riku fight each other without even knowing about it. Cause in Kingdom Hearts 1, Sora and Riku didn't have an excuse to fight each other until Riku turned bad. And also i've been thinking about the battle system. If you look to the right you can see this bar called "drop". I think that's used to see how far down your allowed to drop.

You know how in a dream, if you fall from a high place, you wake up? I think that's what Nourma is trying to do. What do you think?

I don't think so. If you pay close attention, you'll see that Sora and Riku are facing the same direction when they find Xemnas/Ansem SoD.

^Yea. Your drop idea is plausible, though.

Erm... what? I didn't even see anything remotely like your Ansem-in-Xemnas-and-vice-versa thing in the trailer.

As for your drop idea, I'm liking that. =)

Nomura did say that players would switch between Sora and Riku, so maybe if this drop bar goes all the way down the player will switch characters, but I'm kinda thinking that this might happen at anytime during gameplay.

The Drop gauge idea seems plausible. As for the Ansem/Xemnas thing, they aren't inside each other, they're back to back.

I kinda like the drop bar part. Its very likely

cool theory i like it alot... i think in the end that sora and riku battle and one of them gets hurt, lost something because i dont think kingdom hearts will ever have a happy ending

!

Drop idea, yes, I was thinking the same thing, as for the rest, I'm not so sure about this...

I thought I saw a post like this somewhere... But this does seem interesting. I'm actually hoping that's the case (with the Ansem/Xemmy idea)

As for the drop, I actually think its for how long you play as a character.

Well remember Disney is involved, so I think Kingdom Hearts will have a good ending.

Disney isn't involved. Square just has the rights to their characters and such. Square works hard to capture Disney's feel, but looking back, there hasn't really been a happy ending for KH in a while.

Exactly. The only envolvement Disney has in KH is merchandice, and sucking up the money that KH makes.

Interesting. Actually, I think "drop" means how long until you switch characters. because in the trailer, Riku sees Sora falling down, dropping, and when he finally does, Riku isn't there anymore, Sora is. but we all have our theories.

i think it's part of the hp bar what i think that what i think is what u almost said if your HP bars goes down the drop bar will go down and if you lose all of your HP the drop bar will be empty and sora and/or riku will wake up and it will be a game over
