Why SE didn't put the Final Mix content as DLC?, that would be cheaper than make and produce a whole game again. Also, by this way, NA, EU , AU and PAL regions would play the additions.

Do explain the meaning of DLC?

^DLC = downloadable content

It's cuz of Disney. They don't want the content of their games on the Playstation Network for some dumb reason.

but disney has all kinds of psone games on the playstation store like hurclues

Because Japan would rather buy a whole new game than buy a DLC.

Besides, it makes Square more money selling a game than selling a DLC.

I'd say that's the main reason, right there.

As people said, Japan would rather make and buy a whole new game just for a little bit of extra content than just get a DLC. Also, Disney doesn't allow them to make DLC for their stuff. The PS1 games are an exception since they are whole games that Disney owns and can't be bought anywhere else, except maybe Ebay and Amazon.

Compare: people buying a 40 dollar game twice, or downloading a package that at most would be 10 dollars.

But games need to be made with DLC in mind. DLC can't simply be added, the game needs to be set up to receive the DLC.
