I wanna get into the Nier series! But my research so far has told me that its related to the Drakengard series and that the story is above a thousand times more complicated than the KH series since there are multiple timelines, novels and other media not available in english

Well, they are all sequels of each other, like how NieR Automata is NieR's sequel

But Automata is set thousands of years after the original so you won't be lost in terms of story

And NieR is a spin-off to the Drakengard series
