February 16, 201114 yr Pfft, we'll never even make it to 2013 for that to happen. inb4 people who don't understand sarcasm.
February 16, 201114 yr I dont believe in ending of the worl. people are suiciding because of a movie really, wtf...
February 16, 201114 yr It's not really just a movie, it's a series of coincidences that the movie was based on that is the real reason why people are freaking out. Though I believe could really just the start of a "new age", not necessarily the end of the world which was supposed to "end" plenty of times before. But isn't that movie already comedy? It was pretty horrible in my opinion...
February 17, 201114 yr Honesly, 2012 has a ridiculously low chance of happening, heck, mostly no chance, the movie was just based off of common natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, and things like that are common these days, Y2K never happened, what are the chances THIS will?
February 17, 201114 yr Most people thing it will be the end of the world in 2012 because of the mayan calendar witch suppously hasn't been wrong so far at anything involving the days and stuff. And since it says that it's going to 'end' in 2012.People belive it.But what the mayan calendar REALLY says is that the earth will be renewed in 2012.Not ended.Just that something will happen that will fix and mismatch this world. Not end it completetly.
February 17, 201114 yr i am sort of scared about 2012. not that the world will end blah blah blah, but that someone will find that the perfect oppertunity to launch a massive terrorist attack.
February 18, 201114 yr I agree with OP Sora96. I don't believe in people being able to know/predict the end of the world. Considering that so many people thought they knew but found out they were wrong and made up an excuse as to why the date was wrong. It's gonna be the same with this, we are gonna be in 2013 and scientists are gonna be coming up with some excuse to explain what was wrong with the Mayan Calendar while the movie 2012 officially becomes a comedy. I can honestly say though that thinking about the stuff in the movie being real scares the crap out of me, not literally, it's just not too fun to think about a giant tsunami engulfing you or your home being destroyed by the worlds largest earthquake, and that the Government is only saving the 'worthy' candidates.
