Every day at school, people play this (yes I'm in high school so I find it kind of ackward). However, I stopped playing many years ago and watching these guys make me interested again. But the other reason I would want to get them back is to teach them how to play the damn game. Seriously, they randomly sitck cards into their decks and hope it works. It annoys me. What happened to strategy? I know everyone is not going to have all the cards they want and stuff, but don't put in cards that either don't work with the deck or if they are usless comepletely. Shesh.

 

But anyways, what do you guys think? Should I go back or not? I want to hear opinions because I'm bored these days and eBay happens to sell ridiculously low priced cards.

Well i used to be OBSESED with Yu-Gi-Oh but after they took out Yugi and replaced it with crap like Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds and stuff like that i was like nah.

but i think you should try it again but the old cards cause the were so much fun

I used to have all of the original decks and even those arm card holder thingys.

I stopped playing Yu-gi-oh like... a year ago? I got rid of most of my cards, except for my crystal beast deck. I was quite a fan of Yu-gi-oh GX, and I was in love with the crystal beasts (and the D-Hero's, but I sucked with using them in a deck ). I used to play with a bunch of guys at a game shop that held tournaments. If the guys there met the kids at your school, they'd be like "THAT IS NOT HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME! *RAGE RAGE RAGE RAGE FIRING THEIR LAZOR RAGE!*" Then they'd tell them how to remake their decks.

 

Anyways, I say go for it if you really want to. A huge pet peeve of mine when I played was how people just DID NOT play with any strategy, mostly because it reminds me of how I played when I first started out. Besides, since they're in high school, they should know better than to basically play with two hands tied behind their backs.

I think you should go back to playing, if you like it, and I hate it when people dont know how to play a damn game.

I did the same exact thing. After they replaced Yugi and friends, I said,"Screw it..." and decided to stay with my DBZ/Pokemon for a bit longer.

I have like 800 some cards, never use them. My deck is a Dragons Roar Structure deck with a few cards added. My basic strategy was to summon Blue Eyes Ultimate or Shining Dragon, or Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. I didn't need a real strategy because no one I played had one.

 

I have all the Exodia pieces and the three God Cards (95% sure they are real. No they are not the tournament legal ones). Are those cards even good anymore? >

it's such a shame, i did it at my old school. but one day, literally, EVERYONE stopped bringing their cards in.

i have those too and i had toon white dragon. And i had a awesome dark magician (my fave) so if i battled you you would be screwed my friend by a GIRL

nah, YOU would get screwed by my machine deck. i have some instant win combos in there

it was liek money bakc in middle school. but in collage iI Found people play it alot, so i got a few old decks and what not. lol good tiems. I don;t find it awkward or anything. I do know one thing, YOU WILL ALL LOSE TO MY DRAGONS!

I have alot of horrible translated bootleg cards. On my Blue Eyes White Dragon card, the description reads

I have some different language ones too, and I wonder how my brother got them all

I have a Devil Girl card with the Dark Magician Girl on it, looking all happy with hearts all around it, lol.

Not that I have anyone to play with, nor do I remember exactly how to play.

I'm the best at my school. Of course, we have to hide in order to play.

I have a very random deck, with Monarches and Synchros like Stardust Dragon, Red Dragon Archifend and Junk Archer. And Ancient Gear Golem as well (he pwns!)

P.S: Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal is the new type of Yu-Gi-Oh, and I think it'll be better than 5D's. IT DOESN'T HAVE CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES!
