"I failed you Terra. Perhaps I

Terra couldn't control his darkness because he was weak.........(No one correct me and say oh he was this and oh he was that i'm trying to act like a badass right now xD)

The reason why Master Eraqus thought Terra 's Darknees was his own fault , Was because he thought he hadn't trained Terra properly , He thinks that he hasn't taken time to help Terra get rid of his Darkness , So thus it's his fault

I think he says that because sometimes the way he acts is harsh sometimes. Also, Terra succumbs later because the darkness inside him grew due to the fact that Master Eraqus did not make him a master and then made Aqua spy on him like he was a threat.

Well, yes darkness is mostly hate and rage, but it is also if you are obsessed with power or if you're just consumed by it. Remember, darkness lurks in every heart, so that applies to pretty much anyone, even Eraqus. But the reason that he said "I failed you Terra. Perhaps I

Darkness is described as a lot of things. Hate and rage is one of them, but don't forget at the start of Kingdom Hearts, Riku took on the darkness, and yet he wasn't angry. He might have hated Destiny Isles, however. It's basically emotions that make you 'weak' that is darkness.

I think that eraqus blames himself because he taught to go into the light only and defeat darkness. Terra had no experience in darkness and well MX's Darkness was too much to handle? Just guessing S:
