If KH: DDD is about sora and Riku going for the mark of mastery...then that must mean they're the main characters and the story/gameplay must revolve around them. If this is true....then does that mean...there won't be donald and goofy in DDD???

If this is true...then my dreams have been realized. finally! a KH game witout goofy constantly yelling, "HAYLP!!!! HAYLP!!" every single battle and donald squawking in pain everytime he gets hit.

In the KH:DDD gameplay trailer i didnt see them at all. Did nomura mention whether they're going to be in the game or not?

thye won't be, or at least not as party members

I think it's going to be like Re:coded. We'll probably have them away for the majority of the game and then some dream version of them will appear and help Sora/Riku out.

Only part of the game focuses on the MoM exam. For all we now, they could join up later, Donald and Goofy with Sora and Mickey with Riku.

i guess this can be true, what you all have said, i hope we can be with donald and goofy because the games w/o them just aren't the same to me. besides, i care about them, in kh2 when they thought goofy died i felt bad for him when i got done laughing.

If I remember clearly, Nomura said that the handhelds can't support the use of having 3 people on the same screen unlike the main title games on home consoles.

Bbs had terra ven and aqua fighting against the balls of light and trinity armor at the same time.

I'm talking about for the "whole" game like in KH1, KH2, but then again, I said "If I remember clearly", so I forgot to put "whole". The handheld games can't do that. That is what I was referring too.

If this is so... I really hope it is... and..

Yo,bbs didn't have "HALP" or *Squak* either.Days either.Idk,bout coded.

Random anime girl:Haha,iAD's a noob.

Heh heh. The way Forze's comment began it sounded like he was upset with Donald and Goofy not being assistants in KH3D... X)

I don't really care if the two are in your party or not. I hardly rely on them anyway. When I'm fighting against a boss, right before I deal the finishing blow, it is THEN that I usually notice Donald and Goofy are dead. :P

And am I the only one who thinks the abbreviation "KH:DDD" is pretty weird? "KH3D" works just fine to me.

I doubt that Goofy and Donald will be party members because the main protaginists of the game are supposed to be Sora and Riku taking the Mark of Mastery exams. But I would still like to see them as party members in a few boss battles. And I do think the abreviation KH: DDD is a little weird. I prefer KH3D.

There's a betgter solution; make Donald and Goofy have good AI :P

If I remember clearly, Nomura said that the handhelds can't support the use of having 3 people on the same screen unlike the main title games on home consoles.

It's not that they can't support them, the team just put more of the PSPs resources into thing other than AI party members. It's really nothing more than the number of polygons on screen at once

Days was optimized for multiplayer support. The characters use lots of cheats and workarounds to get that to work

It's again a matter of optimization. The places where characters fight together tend to be very empty, not as big, and have fewer details than normal areas. Also, the Trinity Armour battle CAN lag. A lot.

^Plus in the Trinity Armour fight your part can only use basic keyblade combos not to mention their self-preservation AI is god awful. But it was still aesthetically nice[/color]

You missed my most recent post, where I mentioned I was referring to the "whole" game.

No I saw that, It's just that BBS COULD support party members, but the team went another direction.

Basically they chose to have more taxing graphics.

@CardCaptor

I actually think that the AI partners are the same as the ones you fighting the tutorial.
