Just a theory, but i like to think Ven's heart is reacting and he thinks Terra chose Sora even though he chose Riku...ive always wondered that myself though.

It was a translation mistake, it was actually "why did it pick you?" Roxas was referring to the keyblade picking Sora.

I always assumed he was Riku, considering the events in Days Riku chose to save Sora over choosing to save Roxas.

I agree with Gambler's Apprentice I think he was talking about Riku, I mean it couldnt have been about the keyblades or Ven, I dont think Ven was mention in that game, not to be rude tho.
