Im not sure if this has been brought up already, Im sure it has and I apologize if that is the case. But if Dream Drop Distance takes place after kh2 then why are Sora and Riku in their kh1 attire from what I've seen?

Nobody knows yet. Nomura has said that there is a reason for it but, that reason hasn't been given to us yet.

we dont know yet, Nomura hasnt told us why.

but he did say that sometime in the beginning of KH3D they will be in their KH2 clothes

This is the reason why people think that KH3D will be some sort of dreamed theme and will show them in KH1 attire and abilities. Making this the reason why Sora is at level 1 for this game. (There has to be a reason for each game).

i was thinking that the dream thing could be the reason but i didnt see why he would be dreaming doing the mark of mastery when he actually has to do it. the level one thing makes sense though i hadnt thought of that.

I think you are on to something NOXARA the dream part of 3D im sure has something to do with it!

namura said that they will get new clothes i think they will get armors

namura said that they will get new clothes i think they will get new armors

maybe Sora and Riku just like their first outfits?

Nomura has stated that there is a reason he is in his KH1 attire and that he won't be in his KH1 outfit for the entire game. Just part of it. And as others said, Sora's supposed to get new clothes at some point of the game as well.

What KH125 said.

Yeah, what he said.
