I got this from my math teacher...apparently it's easy. I got all of them right. I want to test you guys, to see if you can get the answers right. For you answer, put the number for it. So here we go:

1) If a docter gave you three pills, and told you to take one every half hour, how long would they last?

2) A farmer had 17 sheep. All but nine died. How many did he have left?

3) Without a calculator, divide 30 by a half and add ten. What is the result?

4) Take two apples from three apples and what do you have?

5) There is a ten-foot steel ladder attached to the side of a boat. The rungs on the ladder are exactly one foot apart with the bottom rung resting on the top of the water. If the tide rises one foot an hour, how long will it take to cover the first three rungs of the ladder?

6) You have 4, 5, and 3 haystacks and you put them all together. How many haystacks do you have?

7) Without using a calculator - You are driving a bus from London to Milford Haven in Wales. In London, 17 people get on the bus. In Reading, six people get off the bus and nine people get on. In Swindon, two people get off and four get on. In Cardiff, 11 people get off and 16 people get on. In Swansea, three people get off and five people get on. In Carmathen, six people get off and three get on. You then arrive at Milford Haven. What was the name of the bus driver?

http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-cool.png There is $21.00 in 1 dollar bills that has to be split evenly among the 2 fathers and 2 sons. How is this possible.

9) To the nearest cubic centimeter, how much soil is there in a 3m x 2m x 2m hole?

10) If you were to fill a 10 gallon hat with water, how much water would it hold?

Ok, here are the results cause I can't wait for another person. Alot of you guys actually failed...and I actually lied, I failed it to. So here are the answers.

1) If a docter gave you three pills, and told you to take one every half hour, how long would they last?

A= 1 hour...get it? It becauses you take them every half hour, and even know it's 1 1/2 hours, it's techincally 1 hour. Let's say you take one at 7, then you take one at 7:30, then you take one at 8. That's one hour =3

2) A farmer had 17 sheep. All but nine died. How many did he have left?

A = 9. All BUT nine died. You guys missed the hint.

3) Without a calculator, divide 30 by a half and add ten. What is the result?

A= 70. You divide 30 by .5 or 1/2, not 2. For some reason, it turned out to be 60, then you add ten, and it's 70

4) Take two apples from three apples and what do you have?

A= Two Apples. You took two apples but what do YOU have? That was a hint.

5) There is a ten-foot steel ladder attached to the side of a boat. The rungs on the ladder are exactly one foot apart with the bottom rung resting on the top of the water. If the tide rises one foot an hour, how long will it take to cover the first three rungs of the ladder?

A= Acutally, never. I forgot why, but it's never.

6) You have 4, 5, and 3 haystacks and you put them all together. How many haystacks do you have?

A= 1 big haystack

A= Your name. You drove the bus lol. There was no need to count xD

:D There is $21.00 in 1 dollar bills that has to be split evenly among the 2 fathers and 2 sons. How is this possible.

A= Hate to break it to you but you can't split money. You have to do it in 1 dollar bills. How is this possible. Well there is 3 people. not 4. 2 fathers are the grandfather and father, and the sons are the father and the son. Get it? So each would get $7

9) To the nearest cubic centimeter, how much soil is there in a 3m x 2m x 2m hole?

A= None. There is no such thing as soil in a hole. A hole has nothing in it, lol.

10) If you were to fill a 10 gallon hat with water, how much water would it hold?

A= Well it's 6 quarts. I know, what the hell

Well it looks like all of you failed. Nice. But don't worry, I failed as well :-/ and for #5, I forgot because I took this a week ago, so it's hard to remember, but it is none. If you guys can figure it out, you get a cookie http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.gif

1)hour and a half

2)9

3)25

4)that depends if you were the one with three apples or the one who took 2...if you took 2 you have 2 if someone else took 2 from you then you have 1

5)2 hours

6)12 that makes no sense xD

7)what if I don't know my name lol

8)theres only 3 people so give them each 7 (grandfather father son)

9)12 divided by however many centimeters are in a meter

10)10 gallons...unless it was an actuall hat then not much because it'd eventually seep through

.. I KNEW this was a dumb test! xD

.. that was why I didn't do it! xD
