Okay, so at the end of coded, Namine says that it's the least she could do for all of those people she hurt. All what people? I thought that the only person she hurt was Sora when she scattered his memories! Could there be more secrets to namine that we don't know? After all, what could she have been doing that whole year? She couldn't piece Sora's memory properly. Could there even be hints at a past before? Like namine is really Ventus!? (okay, that's a stretch, but it's possible if Roxas is Ven!).

 

Or is namine being her usual angelic self and blaming herself for the pain caused to Roxas and Xion? And why not add Axel to the bunch too. She loves blaming herself. I swear, Crown of Guilt from days was named after her...and Pain of Solitude...and Sign of Innocence...hmmm...but I digress as usual. So what do you think?

I believe that she was just talking about Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Repliku, appologizing for what happened in CoM. As well as Data Sora, Data Riku, and Mickey for what happened in Re:coded.

When she said it's the least she could do for all the people she's hurt, she meant Sora, Donald, Goofy's memories along with those who were connected to Sora. their memoreis have been messed up as well. And we don't know everything about the true nature of Namine. That still needs some clearing up for most KH fans in this case. Namine has pretty much have been doing nothing but peicing back Sora's memories back together through the whole year (which was during 358/2 Days). And I'm pretty sure Namine is in no way Ventus. She would have to be somehow connected to him in order for that to happen.

 

As for Axel, she never really caused any pain or suffering to him. Axel only help Namine escape from Marluxia and Larxene's clutches of using her to help use Sora.

tutti frutti. Overall, I agree with AzureFlame. To me the only characters Namine seemed to hurt were Sora, Donald, Goofy, Jiminy, and Repliku. Though I would have an easier time believing Roxas and Ven are the same characters, but that's just me. But Namine blaming herself for everything is a little out there. She was used and threatened to doing Org. XIII bidding in Castle Oblivion without having any real way of defending herself, what else can she do.

To all of those that think I'm making something out of nothing, re:coded had many side purposes that we may not know of and lead to future games, ie Mickey hints that he was there at Traverse town in KH1, and that one scene that showed Riku and Kairi being "hurt" was also hinted at in the BBS Final mix ending and will probably have more importance later. Re:coded was not just pointless, it was about connecting everything. In kingdom hearts, every little line and detail must be analyzed. You can take nothing for granted. Like in Kingdom Hearts 2, Xigbar said that "he" gave the same look as Sora. Now who could have predicted something as little as that would turn into Ventus giving him that look in BBS?

Just because someone has someone else's heart, doesn't mean they are that person. Roxas was his own person, with his own personality. Yes, he was the Nobody of Sora, and yes, he had Ven's heart, but he was still Roxas and nobody else. He may have looked like Ven, but that's all it was, just looks.

Haha. I totally agree with you. Re: Coded is a lot more important than I thought it was going to be. I ranted about it myself in zhill05's "Diz Data/Object" post, if you're interested. Re: Coded was also important in showing how the Journal and Sora are connected. Seriously, I think something weird is going to be revealed about Sora. A Journal and computer Avatar became more "real" because of him, he affected Xion... I could go on and on. You really can't take anything for granted in KH. Heck, that one drawing Of Nami's that has Xion in it turned into a huge thing.

 

Also, about Re: Coded, I was glad for Pete and Maleficent's meddling. Maybe they won't be as much as a road bump in KH3 now.

 

Yes. Larxene is awesome! Maybe the girl (Arlene?) should just come back as a Somebody. And that's odd. I seemed to quote what she said about Namin
