More so since I believe from a previous interview, which I couldn't find which this is open for debate, that the reason Vanitas looks like Sora is due to Ven's heart merging with Sora's. So since that is the case, wouldn't Sora's Nobody pretty much be Roxas/Ven from the same effect and vice versa with Sora/Vanitas. That's just my speculation from a possible effect of Sora and Ven's heart merging into one. Even though I know how a nobody is created, and that the darkness extracted from Ven created Vanitas, this is mostly my own opinion. So wouldn't Sora and Vanitas be the same person, along with Ven and Roxas being the same as well? thought, comments, and opinions on this.

The only discrepancy here is that Their hearts arent merged but rather just with each other. otherwise ven's hearts wouldnt be free to stay with roxas. i think its a different story with Terranort. of course the latter is pure speculation.

The process to them looking like each other is similar, but no, they wouldn't be the same person, other than just looking like each other. Sora is clearly alive, while Vanitas is just pure darkness without a face, until Sora's heart connected with Ven's to heal his heart to make Vanitas look like Sora. Same with Ven and Roxas. Ven's live body is in C.O., while Roxas is Sora's nobody, who is suppose to look like Sora, until Ven's heart went into Roxas, and changed Roxas' face from Sora to Ven.

Sora&Vanitas aren't in any way related to one another. Sure, Ven's heart connected with Sora's. But that clearly doesn't mean Vanitas is related to Sora that way. Vanitas is kind of his own person since he got seperated from Ventus. Although his appearence did come from Ven's heart being connected to Sora, that still doesn't mean he is related to Sora just because of it. As for the whole "Roxas is Ven" thing, it's clearly been stated a bunch of times. Roxas is not related to Ven in any way. He only looks like him because of the fact that Roxas has Ven's heart inside in. So although the process is similiar to each other, it is not the same either, as the others also stated.

tutti frutti. To a degree, I see Sora more a gullible in my own opinion. I always pictured Sora's Nobody to look more like Vanitas than Ven/Roxas, due to the whole heart subject. I know Nomura stated on why the reason Vanitas looks like Sora, is from Ven's damaged heart going inside of Sora. I can also see Roxas being Sora's Nobody due to the same reason. From each other, I guess, there were an extra entity from each other. Without Ven's heart, we can never really know what Roxas would have looked like. I can understand Vanitas have an appearance from Sora due to Ven's heart needing to be repaired. I find that it would make more sense for them not being connected if Ven's heart wasn't inside of Sora.
