tutti frutti. Since FFversus XIII still seems like another decade before we get any kind of idea on when the release date will be, I was watching the gameplay again in anticipation on the game. Also, I somewhat remember readin that Nomura was going to improve the gamplay for Kingdom Hearts 3 and maybe KH:DDD(correct me on this not to sure about this game.)

 

To get to the point wouldn't it be pretty interesting if Nomura made the gameplay of at least KH3 like that of FFversusXIII. Though I'm sure everybody that comes to this site has seen the trailers and gamplay to the game, but I went ahead and added a link to the gameplay.

 

Overall, I think that SE is doing a pretty good job on the game so far, even though it isn't finished yet. (As far as I know). But nonetheless, would you want KH games to be more like FFversus13? If so, what is something you would like to see be incorporated in future KH games?

 

Actually, FF Versus 13 is like KH. FF Versus 13 gets it gameplay from KH, hence the KH team working on it, as Nomura stated in an interview long ago. Also, he said we should look forward to KH games after KH3D, since the gameplay would come from that or similiar to it(I kinda worded it different, but this is what it is).

That was an awesome vid! But yeah, from what I saw, that definitly looked like KH's gameplay. Someone even commented that on the vid.

Pretty much what Rob said. Versus XIII gets its gameplay mainly from KH itself. So I really don't see how KH3's gameplay would be "Better" since it's both KH and Versus share the same gameplay.

tutti frutti. Maybe even a couple summons from the series as opposed to purely Disney maybe, or even more FF characters here and there. Though I liked how Nomura made the FFV13 more like KH though. Though I would like a longer story and some extra content to keep us busy in between games.

Exactly what others said. Nomura said that whatever he can't put into Kingdom Hearts, he puts into Versus.

That gameplay seen in FF Versus XIII is the kind of gameplay I've been waiting to come for a long long time! I've always wanted a combination between the generals of Kingdom Hearts fighting style and Final Fantasy, and that gameplay is just what I had in mind, it has the fighting style of Kingdom Hearts (How you are free to move around the battle field and can actually have a chance at not taking damage from attacks unlike most Final Fantasy games where you basically take damage from every attack) yet also having the damage you deal and the damage that you've taken shown upon the attack. The only Final Fantasy game that has gotten closest to this type of gameplay (Well, that I have played at least), is FF VII DoC. I really hope this is continued over into a future Kingdom Hearts game.

Looks very good, and similar to KH!
