This will probably lead me to more questions, but I just had to get something straight for myself because I think I've been thinking of this wrong for a while and I want to set it straight.

Now, when the final keyhole was completed, this unlocked and opened the door to darkness. Now, when Sora sealed the keyhole of darkness, this stopped some of the darkness that was flowing from the realm of darkness into the realm of light, but the door to darkness was still open. Also, the End of the World was a heartless world made from the remnants of the destroyed worlds, but not technically the realm of darkness itself.

The door to darkness is the giant door that nobody could properly use that Sora and the King sealed at the end and this door leads to the heart of the realm of darkness (and by heart I mean like center). Within this realm of darkness is Kingdom Hearts; Ansem was calling on KH's power from within the realm of darkness, then Sora reveals that it's light blah blah blah, and the light from Kingdom Hearts shines from within KH. So the real kingdom hearts is still trapped inside the realm of darkness. So Ansem needed to open this door to get to the realm of darkness and kingdom hearts, yet King Mickey was already behind the door in the realm of darkness? But that will probably be explained in BBS volume two, I just mainly want to make sure everything above is correct because I don't want to be stupid.

Am I overanalyzing?

Yeah, Kingdom Hearts is still there or there would be no more heartless or evil in the world. The future of the game will probably revolve around this door.

Don't know what the other guys are talking about, but you've got the Realm of Darkness down. You haven't over read anything. That's about all we know about it and we'll probably learn how Mickey got there in BBSV2 like you said.

The End of the World has ties and connections to the Realm of Darkness. You can't exactly consider it the Realm of Darkness but it sorta is. As for this question or theory I think Ansem may have his own secret method of traveling to worlds. The real Kingdom Hearts is most likely not in the Realm of Darkness.

If anything end of the world is like a heartless of the original state of the realm of light.

The door to darkness is the giant door that nobody could properly use other than those of darkness that Sora and the King sealed at the end and this door leads to the heart of the realm of darkness (and by heart I mean like center... and at the center of the rod is kingdom hearts which is the dtd). Within this realm of darkness is Kingdom Hearts; Ansem was calling on KH's power from within the realm of darkness as seen as the dtd right in front of mickey and riku, then Sora reveals that it's light blah blah blah, and the light from Kingdom Hearts shines from within KH which is that door to darkness. So the real kingdom hearts is still trapped inside the realm of darkness yes, but that doesn't make the artificial one any less usable. So Ansem needed to open this door to get to the realm of darkness and kingdom hearts no, but by opening the door to darkness, he will be able to control an even vaster army of heartless to rule the world with., yet King Mickey was already behind the door in the realm of darkness through a naturally occuring dark corridor in traverse town because it is an imbetween world.? But that will probably be explained in BBS volume two, and hopefully not retconned I just mainly want to make sure everything above is correct because I don't want to be stupid. No worries, the mysteries of kh1 are the most confusing because of complicated elements of other games :P

And as for the final keyhole and what not:

-The keyblade of a persons heart is what is used to use kingdom hearts and is formed from the seven princesses hearts

-The final keyhole is the keyhole of the dtd and can be found in Radiant garden, the capital of light. Similar to the keyblade of a person's heart, it is formed from the power that the seven princesses hold. By unlocking it one can open it and "flood the world with darkness,"

-Within Radiant Garden lies kingdom hearts to some extent: Behind the door that Xehanort opened, which was to the heart of that world, and connected to that worlds heart was the dtd. Surely some sort of a relationship exists and hopefully Bv2 will shed some light.

When I said nobody could properly use the door, I just meant that because it was so huge lol. Maybe the Darksides use it?

and thanks for the help, kingdom hearts can often be confusing. I think Square likes it that way, they never really explain much so that they can turn it into a plotline later, ie BBS Volume 2, so I wanted to make sure I was all right about the realm of darkness.

ACtually, now that I think about it, the reason he would have needed to open the door would be to release Kingdom hearts' power into the worlds. It seems heartless can't really leave the realm of darkness unless they're summoned or the door was opened, so yeah. And that's what I thought about end of the world.
