ok, straight to the point, i have a rather large belly.

 

but i have to go more in-depth. i'm quite short for my age, i'm 13 and am only just 5 ft tall. my arms are quite long, my legs are quite long, my torso is very short. it seems to be just there where my chubbiness is concentrated.

 

i eat fairly healthily as well.

for breakfast: i'll have either cereal or toast, sometimes eggs.

for lunch: sandwhich, packet of crisps. often just a sandwhich

for dinner: some combination of potato, lean meat, rice, pasta, and vegetables.

snacks: i don't snack

drinks: water.

 

and i exercise about 2 hours a week. PE lessons (sport, gym, whatever you call in in america), and i do Judo (which is surpisingly good exercise). and thats not including walking to school, from school, and in school, which probably adds up to 3 hours at least.

 

so why am i?

Hmm, well you just hit puberty it seems or are close to it and if I remember correctly, every guy in my classes then were a bit chubby because it's still baby fat or child fat and it goes away when you get a bit older in your teens.

Chubby? Lucky bastard... I'd take pudgy anytime over my total roundness.

It's probably genetics though 2 to 3 hours of exercise a week probably isn't enough for you. Try 30 minutes a day then do an 1 hour a day and see how that works. Focus on fat burning high intensity stuff first to get rid of it, then go for more less extreme stuff to mentain it.

 

I'm no expert though but that's my 2 cents.

I agree, a lot of people would kill to be chubby compared to what they are. I'm technically underweight and hate it, No matter what I eat i cannot put on any pounds. Besides, you're 13, Pretty soon you'll be hitting a growth spurt and you'll be fine

14. I'm fourteen... and almost 6' feet tall already.

When I was 13, matter of fact about a year or so younger, I got a little chubby 1 winter, just eating. I was skinny, so I was fast and such, but when I got a little chubby, I could see I wasn't as fast as I once was, and I couldn't run as long. My legs got a little bigger, which I could tell, and my face was chubby, which people said. Once summer time came, I spent my whole summer playing basketball(I sweat a lot when I play any sport), and I lost 3 pounds. I was skinny again, and fast as ever. It felt really good, plus I was always in good shape all my life since I play basketball. That's all I did, it didn't matter if I ate a lot, but I guess it's different for other people.

Eventually as puberty hits you'll even out. I was a little chubby at eleven, but at thirteen, now I'm underweight. You shouldn't worry as long as you're taking care of yourself. (: You probably, as Fred suggested, excercise a little more than that during a week, though.

Tough people in my class don't notice it, when I'm shirtless It shows well .-.

I am 14, 6 feet tall, and about 40 some pounds over the ideal weight for my height and build. I have lost almost all hope of this happening...
