Posted April 26, 201114 yr I was watching the opening of it the other day, and near the beginning, the shell that Xion left when she faded got washed away in the tide on the island. Just thought i'd point that out.
April 26, 201114 yr That is not necessarily Xion's shell. In the opening, Kairi was making her good luck charm out of the sea shells. Also, the sea shell being pulled back into the ocean could represent Sora, Riku and Kairi being pulled into a larger world.
April 26, 201114 yr I was thinking the same way with Crown since long ago as well, the shell is precisely the same as the one shown in the near end of days
April 30, 201114 yr I think it's the other way around. The shells were more supposed to represent Destiny Islands, ie always listening to the ocean sound and remembering it. Plus, that part was supposed to be in kingdom hearts 1 when Kairi was making the good luck charm, before Xion was made. But it's definately no accident that they are the same shell. If anything, that very shell that kairi left behind may have found it's way to Xion... Either way, it isn't an accident that they're the same shell.
