Presuming that they all lived in Radiant Garden and the stories of their younger selves are 10 years before the story of KH1, just as BbS was. But, by the time they get found by the Organization, it's only about a year (or perhaps less) before KH1.
Story of Demyx when he was Myde (unless you prefer Demy):
Demyx is not the 20-year-old we're used to. Now, he is an adorable 10-year-old Myde that has a mini mohawk and short bangs. :lol: He was in Kindergarten when he first makes a paper sitar. He starts strumming it like its real, so his teacher plays music to make Myde think he's playing actual music.
Myde:I am so good!
Teacher:How cute.
Myde: *takes home paper sitar and shows mother*
Mother:Aww. So she buys him an actual sitar and it is the one he now has. He cherished it that much to have kept it all these years.
When he's about 17, she starts expecting him to get a part-time job or something. Myde: Mom!!! I have music lessons!
Mother: And they are expensive.....*sigh*
Myde:I'll get a job next year, okay?
Mother:You're like a little kid.....but, fine. Yeah, I'll hold you to that.
Next year comes, and he still isn't working.
Mother: I thought you were gonna get a job?
Myde: *lies* I tried, but they wouldn't hire me.
Mother:*sigh* Thank you still....for at least trying....
Myde thinks to himself: I am sooo clever!
Two more years pass and he is still leeching off his parents with the same excuse, not even trying to help out. Soon, his mom finds out he hasn't even been trying to get a job and has been lying to her. She chases him with her purse and he runs out the house. She keeps chasing him and Xigbar happens to be on a mission for new members. Myde literally hides behind him and says the woman chasing him is not his mom.
Xigbar hides him behind a wall and goes over to the mother, dodging her purse.
Xigbar: Calm down, ma'am. One moment.
He asks Myde if she's his mother and he still says no. (LIAR!) Aaanyway....this is how Myde gets darkness in his heart and he becomes a heartless. He was strong in will though (all for himself) and managed to make a Nobody....and so, Xigbar asks him if he'd like to join.
Myde:Depends, do I have to work?
Xigbar:Well, you get a free room, cloak, and food.
Myde:I accept!
Xigbar thinks to himself: Free as in no charge.....but you will have to work kiddo.....
He keeps this to himself so that Myde would join. (Never trust a guy with an eyepatch!) ..I digress....
The story of Luxord when he was Rould (pronounced Raw-oool...I know, that's all I could come up with):
He was 30 when he was Rould and the only difference in appearance was he looked slightly younger and didn't have the Nobody symbol earring. He pretty much gambled from (does KH have casinos?) casino to casino, and on a continuous winning streak. Girls always wanted him, but he didn't trust them because all they probably wanted was his money, so he pretended they weren't there. Soon, he slowly gets a little greedy and becomes a heartless. Strong willed, he goes on as a Nobody, that Xaldin will later find. I know, that was the best I could come up with for Luxord...
The story of Marluxia as Lumaria:
He looks about 30 when he's Marluxia, so let's figure he's 20 as Lumaria. When he was about 5, he saw a butterfly and wanted to catch it because it was so beautiful. It flew too fast and he followed it all the way to a garden. He saw the flowers and liked them better because he could catch them. He since becomes infatuated with flowers. When he is 28-ish, he wants to open his own garden shop, and even resorts to thievery to get the money he needs to open it. This is how he gets darkness in his heart...and later on, Xigbar finds him and Marluxia joins hoping to not be bored, figuring that there is bound to be someone that he can get along with. When he joined, he first went over to Axel, "This place is boring, isn't it?"
Axel:It's full of Nobodies, of course it's boring. I actually feel the same, but I know how to keep my mouth shut. Marluxia goes away saying, "You're boring, too!"
The story of Larxene when she was Arlene:
She was about 13 ten years ago and was rather showy in clothes style. A bully, she would often steal stuff from the younger kids or tease them. She got a boyfriend and later took the relationship to the full level. @_@ Now she is 23 and gave into the darkness because she lost the will to fight it away when her boyfriend broke her heart. She became a Nobody and Xigbar found her one day after Marluxia. She first went to talk to Axel, "Hey, redhead!"
Axel: I have a name. It's Axel, get it memorized.
Larxene: Do you expect me to remember all these names in one day?
Axel: I guess not....what do you want?
Larxene: Sheesh, you don't want to talk to me? Hey, how's my coat look? *twirls*
Axel: It fits, like it's supposed to. Why does everyone want to talk to me? If I tell her she's a hassle she'll just be more annoying....
Larxene:I just didn't want to talk to some old man.
Axel:Even then, there are heaps of other members. Like Demyx, he's not old at all, or Zexion, although you probably won't have anything in common, and Marluxia, he's new too, then there's Saix.....
Larxene:Never mind. Do you want me to stop talking that badly? You happened to be in front of me, so I came over. Ta-ta, Mr. Boredom.
Axel: Mr. Boredom?
She spun around and head to Marluxia. "What do you want Larxene?"
Larxene:This place is boring, isn't it?
Marluxia:I know, right? Our objectives aren't even clear. We're supposed to just "gather strength and fill Kingdom Hearts". Whatever that is.
Larxene:I actually like not having a heart...I feel more comfortable...
Marluxia:Maybe that's true.
And they march off shoulder to shoulder together.
