How to beat Vanitas Sentiment in Three attacks!

Posted

This will shock you, but you can defeat the Vanitas Sentiment in three attacks! I've done it, and the key is timing.

How is it done? You only need two commands: Tornado and Tornado, both at max level. Before you fight VLS, wait for the Tornados to fully charge, so you can use them the second the battle starts. You also need a decent magic stat, so the Tornado will deal more damage.

The second the battle starts, take a single step forwards and use Tornado before he can create the shield. If you're not close enough, you will have an aimless Tornado as Vanitas' clones kill you. If you get too close, he'll just go ahead and attack you without creating a shield. Watch vanities spin and cry out for a while, and his HP will go down to half. The second he's about to hit the ground again, use Tornado again and watch him some more. Now he'll be left with one HP. When he lands, just attack him.

Congratulations! If you followed these steps successfully, you can honestly say you have battled the Vanitas Sentiment in less than one minute without taking damage or using cheats!

(This strategy is only possible as Ventus.)

Months late, aren't you? It's all over youtube.

I was just about to say the same thing as Rob. I'm sorry but you're totally late and I'm sure other people have known this for a while now. Also you need to use 4 attacks. Mine Square, Tornado, Mine Squre, and Tornado again.

There are some people who can't go on youtube... and people who are too lazy to look it up on youtube.

Some of us have found that this strategy is stupid, suicidal and time-wasting because Vanitas moves too fast, tornado misses and it's gg. It's easy to watch on youtube but it's hard to actually execute; I recommend sticking with mines throughout the whole battle. It's consistent and simple to execute.

Really? I found it really easy. The timing is the key.

Timing does not always help you out. And more than 50% of the time, Tornado will miss Vanitas. And like I said before it takes more then 3 attacks. Anyone who found this out just now is late. But I'll give credit to Cyberman65, becasue I learned the strategy before BBS came out in North America.

I did it right on the first time, maybe cause I'm so good. Once the battle starts, run up to Vanitas quick and use Tornado, wasn't hard for me.

I never knew this trick, but I won't use it whenever I suck it up and decide to fight him. A boss battle isn't fun if it ends under a minute.
