tutti frutti. I was watching the fight with Xemnas in KH1FM, and this is just something that's bugged me about the series in general. Wanting a real challenge in the series for a final story based boss. Though I was never able to face Xemans in KH1FM, though from watching vids of him facing Sora with gamers receiving I find amusing. Though when you face Xemnas in KH2, he is significantly toned down in terms of power. I also think the same with the other major villains of the series (Marluxia, MX, Vanitas (not the spirit/remnant version), Xigbar) Sure you can challenge yourself with Zero EXP and the highest difficulty setting, but are they really that much different in terms of being a challenge. So would you want a more challenging final story boss, or keep the bosses the way they are?

After KH1 every KH game has been pretty much easy.

also remember in khfm xemans is an optional boss so they can make him as hard as they want while in kh2 he is the final boss so he cant be too hard where people cant beat him but but not too easy where its no fun

Fundamental problem: the better a character plays, the easier things become. Birth By Sleep adn KH1 are regarded as the hardest KH games. You know why? Because half the actions your characters use take control from the player for much longer than they should, eliminating and reaction time required. This i somethign that faces all gaming these days: Games just run too smoothly to be difficult.

Yeah, we need harder storyline bosses. I love playing through games like God of War just because of the boss fights. KH could take a page or two from Zeus.

tutti frutti. I agree with you AnsemTheWise. I have also played the God of War games and have to admit that the bosses in the series are fun and challenging. Maybe with KH3D and/or KH3, though I'm not holding my breath, that Square and Nomura will make the storyline final boss more challenging. But, we could only wish for something like that along with a game in general being great. Here's to wishful thinking.

All bosses are hard it's cuz it depends on your level. Like you have to be at a certain level to beat a boss. I mean if your level 99, of course the boss is gonna be easy. It all depends on your level

That's Square Enix's definition of difficulty. Believe it or not, more difficulty comes from the attacks a character uses. That's why people find Demyx and Xaldin harder than most of the bosses in KH2

tutti frutti. I agree with Hatok. To me for KH2, both Demyx and Xaldin were challenging. I even went through the game at their parts of the game, I believe I was in the mid 80 for the level I forget exactly, but they were still challenging for bosses even at a high level. Some of the bosses in the game, such as Demyx and Xaldin, still felt challenging despite the level grinding, to where as a character like Xemnas or even MX more or less lost that challenge after leveling up. So far, in my opinion, the only final story boss that I thought retained some of his challenge was Ansem SoD from KH1. I still enjoy facing him more so than the other final story bosses due to the challenge and overall enjoyment of the battle. I just want the final story bosses to be more like him, challenging enough to where you don't have to worry about being able to crush your opponent with your eyes closed.
