I just spoiled myself for the English cutscenes when I swore I wouldn't. I'm such a bad person.

 

BUT WTF. COMMENTARY TIME:

 

Well, I only watched the ones with Axel... ^^; But. Yeah.

 

1.) Why The Sun Sets Red - He's good in this one. No bad comments. His laugh is cute/scary at the same time.

 

2.) Xion's Dream - Well, he has one line... but he sounds robotic. Meh.

 

3.) Xion's Capture - Axel's a badass. Enough said.

 

4.) Axel and Saix - OH. firetruck. NO. SAIX DID /NOT/ JUST PRONOUNCE LEA LIKE LEE. (whimpers and cries) My life is ruined. Now all I'll be able to picture is Rock Lee from Naruto... IT WAS LEE-UH IN JAPANESE, WHY LEE IN ENGLISH?! WHY?!? (sobs)

 

5.) Roxas Leaves The Organization - OK, it bugs me that they re-dubbed this scene... Axel has less emotion... and the way Roxas says 'No one would miss me' sounds like a sad, gay nerd... Like Vexen if he stubbed his toe. (shot) JK, I <3 Vexen. But it's especially the 'miss me'... it sounds so... lispy and sad at the same time... 'Mith me'... I love it.

 

6.) Xion and Axel Face Off - OK, surprisingly, the best in this scene is Xion... she's improved since 'the scream'. (shudder shudder) Axel's still good, but he's just not the same. Alright, the 'icky jobs' part just killed the drama of the scene. Seriously, Axel - could you be any more gay? But angry Axel after that... is hot. Literally AND figuratively! ;D

 

7.) WINNER - It pisses me off that they changed Axel's line in this scene. I saw two fansubs for the Japanese version, and they said 'Why do/did I...?'. Why'd they change it to 'How did this happen?' I mean, the first two leave room for speculation as to what he's thinking about... but I mean, come on. 'How did this happen?' IT'S OBVIOUS, AXEL. YOU LET YOUR LOVE, ROXAS, SLIP THROUGH YOUR FINGERS! Jesus. (shot)

 

8.) OK, this is lame. Only 7 cutscenes with Axel's voice in it? He's number VIII, for crying out loud! I mean - oh, wait. Forgot that one part in the intro. OMG. THAT PART MADE ME WANNA CRY. THE SADNESS OF MEMORY... GAHHH. (sobs)

 

How odd that Axel had 8 speaking parts... And he's #8.

I agree with you on all of these. Even though I haven't seen the English cut scenes because I don't wanna spoil myself like you /SHOTSHOTSHOTBYMATTY, I don't really wanna see them. >.> By the sound of it, they sound REALLY different .

4) Screw you! I was dancing around cheering that Axel's name was pronounced "Lee" and not "Lee-UH"!! I was crossing my fingers it'd be pronounced "Lee" or "Lay" anyways. I refuse to accept the would be possiblity of Axel having a girly name. >.

Aw, but Lee-uh brings along such funnier jokes! 'Princess' Lea, for one. I mean, as soon as I saw that cutscene, I made a comic about Saix making fun of his name, and then Roxas (cough cough) forcing Axel to wear a certain slave outfit... ;D (shotshotshot)

But such a girly guy deserves a girly name! ;D Well, some could argue that Marluxia is girlier, but Axel's definitely gayer! 8DD I mean, in the manga, Namine was /tied to the wall/ with vines and stuff. What do you think this could have implied? Marluxia vine/tentacle raep? Hellz to the yeah. (shotshotshot) Axel, on the other hand... he prefers to spend his time eating ice cream with and becoming unhealthily obsessed to the point of committing suicide for small children... o_o; That's, um... (cough) a lot more gay than raping a little girl, though equally/more creepy, when you think about it.

 

I'm still calling him Lee-uh, no matter what. And She-on instead of She-own. (No srsly. Wtf was with that? o_O At least they didn't turn it into Zy-on... I know a boy at my school named Zion. He has fluffy hair. owo) Japanese Days > English Days. 8D Because Xion's voice is much less Alyson Stoner, and much more bearable.

Yeah, he's in the little part after the intro, where he's all like, 'Man, I miss the old times... Still got it memorized? Something something about Roxas and him eating ice cream... blablabla' and THEN the actual FMV scenes.

Oh yea.. I must of forgotten. I love that scene.
