So i was browsing around C.G.R. undertow's channel and i found this atrocity. it made me feel sick.

as much as i understand that kh2 could be considered less difficult than kh1 but that's only because of the advances in the fighting system. drive makes boss fights easier and keeps the game play fresh. Also,

alot of the boss battles are truly satisfying. for instance when i was fighting Xaldin and Demyx i felt like i had to use every trick in my arsenal. I also think if it took you a few hours to beat the Roxas' you don't know too much about Kingdom Hearts. one of the beauties of this game are that it's not just telling one story . Kingdom Hearts 2 tell several stories, all of which come together for the big picture. and something is learned from every world visited.

I can go on forever about how much i love Kingdom Hearts. to be honest it was the first video game that i really liked. so to see a review like this i get a little pissed.

That's what I'm saying this game gets tough when you're playing then.

Completely agree with you Aqua. KH2 has a better story than KH1 really.. The gameplay has new options, not only the normal attack and magic.. The camera is better as well.. She must've played in the Beginner mode >.< It isn't so easy as she says in the video!

I wanted to see she fighting the new secret enemies in KH2 Final Mix in Critical Mode!

I couldn't finish it. Voices like that put me to sleep.

And who decided which clips to use? This chick needs to learn how to make a video... oh yeah, and how to play and review a game...

she'd probably complain about it being too hard. now that i think of it she probably never even fought sephiroth.

It doesn't make me that upset. I disagree with some of her points, but everyone is going to have different opinions. I never felt like I was grinding in the game. I just killed the mobs in each area I went to and when I completed a world, I went to the next. Didn't need any extra grinding. I'm guessing the bosses were so easy because she was grinding and then was such a high level that the fight was easy. Other than that, I can see her points on some things but they didn't weight that heavily on me that I was detracted from the game.

I was thinking that too. She doesn't give many good examples of the game, and some of the clips are too long.

I skipped alot of parts of this video....she was soooooo boring....and monotone. X___X

She obviously hasn't tried every difficulty. Or just power-leveled like crazy.

Before reviewing a game, one would think to try everything a game has to offer, and probably give a few more positive examples.

my sentiments exactly

it felt like she was only pointing out that which was bad about the game.

Man you guys are defensive. One, she actually recommends playing on Proud mode, implying it's the only way to get a real challenge (This is true)

And she didn't say all bosses lack challenge, she said most. Xaldin, Demyx and Sephiroth are possibly the only consistently difficult bosses.

And it's not like she was hanging on all the bad parts. She says this game isn't quite a good as the original, but acknowledges the significant upgrades that are present.

Two things I'd like to point out against the review however are as follows; first, why do people always claim Kingdom Hearts is like Zelda? The only resemblance I can see is the use of a targeting system. Second, grinding? What grinding? When did you have to grind? (Though she may have been referring to grinding through the copious story)

In short, the review is fine, she's clearly speaking in broad terms to ensure that people unfamiliar with the franchise could still follow, but understands the series herself. That said, the video clips were absolutely horribly chosen. What's with the ending?

Judging by your comments, I expected a much worse review. To be honest, I felt it was fairly accurate. The only major things I disagree with are how it plays like Zelda Ocarina of Time (not even close), that there is major grinding (not really, unless you are trying to get your level really high or synthesize everything), and that the boss fights weren't difficult (a fair few of them were actually quite challenging). Otherwise, I can see her points.

She was pretty good describing the story. It was unevenly paced and not nearly as interesting as its predecessors. The gameplay was fun and interesting, but the game was still pretty easy (Yes, I played and beat proud mode). The new camera controls were a huge improvement. Her comments on the clothes of the characters were humorous.

To be honest, I am not sure why you guys were making such big deals. I bet a quick Google search could bring up many worse reviews.

Oh, and the clips used made no sense at all. Maybe show clips of the worlds you are talking about?
