July 1, 201114 yr At least you have fireworks. My county's a total fire hazard, so we can't have fireworks for Independence Day.
July 1, 201114 yr Author @kaiso hey guess what I HATE YOU and its kinda like independence day its the celebration of the act that combined three british colonies into what is now known as canada, and it also celebrates the day we received independence from great britain. @ansem where do you live?

July 1, 201114 yr Author i dont feel any loyalty to the queen actually. its just because we are part of the commonwealth, as are a crapload of other countries, however we are debating leaving that as well as of late. this does not mean we belong to england. the commonwealth is kinda more of a club. englands part of it too, not in charge. point of independence because we are our own nation.

July 1, 201114 yr Didn't Canada win home rule from Britain non-violently? I'm trying to remember what we learned in world history class last year (I think a letter was involved somewhere, Lord Durham's report or something?) ;;. Sorry if I got it wrong, it was quite a long time ago when we went over Britain's colonies. But yes, have a happy Canada Day, Cella! You go out and do whatever Canadian's do on that day : D
July 1, 201114 yr Sorry if I struck a chord, Cellar. Honestly, we never learned anything about Canada, being on the other side of the continent. It's pretty awesome how people could do all that. (Just looked it up.) Happy Canada Day!
