Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance may actually be Kingdom Hearts 3. Without even reading this whole topic most of you will say no. Well if you're not going to read what I have to say you might as well not vote.

 

According to Tetsuya Nomura, in an interview he stated that Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will be on par with a numbered tilte. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep is considered Kingdom Hearts Episode 0. Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are also considered, well, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2. If Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is a numbered title just like Kingdom Hearts BBS it must be an important game. Not only that but, it may be Kingdom Hearts 3.

 

If you just think about it for a second you might agree with me. At least consider this idea because the chances of KH3D being KH3 are not 0. All this means is the Kingdom Hearts 3 we all want and have been waiting so long for could be Kingdom Hearts 4.

 

Dream Drop Distance looks like a fairly good game with everything needed to be Kingdom Hearts 3. To most people, it exceeds Kingdom Hearts 2's awesomness level (so did BBS).

 

Anyway guys, I'm just spitballing here. KH3D may be KH3 or it may not be KH3. Who knows?

 

In a literal sense, Kingdom Hearts 3D is Kingdom Hearts 3 because it takes place after Kingdom Hearts 2. Case closed. And I'm pretty sure few of you read the whole topic.

Wow. I never expected this from you. Why would KH3 be on a handheld especially Nintendo? Why would Nomura say KH3D's ending leads into KH3? Why would Nomura continually say KH3 won't begin development until Versus 13 is finished since the KH team is working on it? Why would Nomura say KH3 is the end of the Xehanort saga? Playstation has inFAMOUS, Little Big Planet, ModNation Racers, an absolute TONNE of games starring some anthropomorphic animal of some sort. Uhh... that about all I can think of that's exclusive. The PS2 got lots of FF games because of Nintendo and Square falling out, but they're friends again.

I'm not sure about you but when I played BBS, I saw a trailer for KH3 Reconnect Kingdom Hearts. Last time I checked, that definitely did not say Dream Drop Distance. Remember, the secret ending on coded clearly said Kh 3D Dream Drop Distance. It's important but it's not KH3 for sure.

I'm not saying it WILL happen. But it's not impossible. If for some strange reason, Disney really REALLY wanted to Marvel in KH, they hold enough sway over both KH and Marvel to make it happen.

I don't think that Dream Drop Distance is Kingdom Hearts III. Why would Square Enix want to make a "main" Kingdom Hearts game for 3DS? Especially, when they made Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II for an "home console".

I don't see what that has to do with anything. The 3DS is nearly as powerful as a PS2, and can hold more data.

But the difference is "handheld console" and "home console".
