Agh, if you've read my previous personal thread, then read this.

So today I was talking to my other best friend. the one who's against homosexuality.

He told me how he was against it because his father told him that people have to complete their roles on their families.

I got so pissed off.

I asked him if he'd stop being, per example, "heitor's friend" if Heitor was gay. Obviously I was referring to myself, but I said Heitor to lower the chances that he'd find out.

He said "kinda." Losing part of friendship because of who the person is?

I told him he couldn't judge a person for what he/she is, I told him people are born the way they are, and they can't chose it.

He said he as against it but didn't express it.

I seriously am having a hard time like this. He said I couldn't change him, and that wasn't my goal, I just wanted him to accept me so I could tell him.

The worse part is, he said "...The way you're telling me this, it's like you're trying to tell me YOU'RE Gay."

I denied everything, but...

He also comes to the site sometimes. I just wish there was an easier way to tell him and keep our friendship high.

I have no hope .-.

That's tough, Kinode. When people are being stubborn, it's hard for them to admit that they're wrong. Maybe if you told him (this is your choice, of course) you could show him how wrong his is through how you act. Keep being nice to him and try not to get angry. Actions speak louder than words, and if he sees you're fun to hang out with and nice still, he'll eventually start to realize he was being prejudiced. You could also subtly try to support your own opinion in ways that wouldn't lead to a fight. Just try and stay calm, but don't back down. I think if you try long enough, he'll come around. Hope everything works out okay for you and your friend. (:

If someone can't accept you for who you are, then in my opinion, they're not a good friend to have.

You can keep trying to give him reasons as why homosexuality is fine (it's found in several species, no one chooses to be straight just as no one chooses to be gay, etc.) but if that fails, I'd say to drop the subject and drop him as a friend

Not sure what this has to do with paper...

One of my friend's bisexual too, and I just don't care if he is, he's my best friend and I'm straight!

Honestly, if someone doesn't accept for who you are, he/she isn't worth being your friend.

If he does check this site, he can possibly know who you are. Also, he might already know and is trying to prevent you from telling him so you can still be friends. Now it's your choice. I think if he finds out from other people it will probably worse than you telling him yourself. Just keep that in mind about whether or not you actually choose to tell him. I won't tell you which way to go b/c I have no experience in matters like this so I just mentioned things to keep in mind.

Change your username :3

Well just go straight up to him and say," HEY YOU, IM GAY AND IF YOU DON'T ACCEPT THAT THEM IM NOT YOUR FRIEND (Sorry D:)Hey friend... I've got something to tell you"...*explain the situation*... ,"If you don't accept that, then I'm find it."
