On this day, exactly 10 years ago to the minute, the first of the twin towers fell after a plane was deliberately crashed into the into the towers. Not long afterward the second tower would fall after being struck by an airliner earlier.

 

30 minutes earlier a plane crashed into the Naval command center in the Pentagon, with the scale of the attack revealed, President George W. Bush is sent aboard Airforce one and flies to a safe location. The rest of the government is evacuated to several undisclosed locations.

 

Flight 93 crashed in a field in Pennsylvania before reaching it's target. It is believed passengers fought back and attempted to retake the plane but the terrorist crashed it before they could do so.

 

Over 3000 people of different cultures, races, and ethnicity were killed

 

Today is about remembering the victims of 9/11. Save the politics and conspiracy's for later. This is a day of mourning.

I hope we all take a moment to stand in silence and give our respect to those who died and lost family on 9/11.

Here we come to this forum as fans to a franchise that is close to being 10 years old. Perhaps some of those people who died on 9/11 would have been in this community today, but we'll never know because their lives were mercilessly taken away. My heart goes out to them and the loved ones they left behind. RIP

This is very sad. But I think it made us stronger as a nation. They wanted us to just curl up and die, but we fought back. And we will continue to fight.
