Okay, so I have this chemistry and physics teacher and he's giving a quiz every single day. It's really annoying. He's saying that he's doing this to cut off homework, so we won't have homework in his class. So yeah. What's worse? To have homework every night, or to have a quiz every day. (BTW, it's like a 4 question quiz. You miss one it's an automatic C)

ummm why would it be wrong?

harsh, id rather have homework cause i have test anxiety

Rather have home work and pass then one slip and fail at a quiz

My Algebra teacher did this, except he gave us homework too. To be honest, if the teacher is good and prepares you for the quizzes, then I would rather have quizzes everyday. I hate homework with a burning passion.

I'd prefer homework ;/

I'd rather have homework.

Since, y'know... Homework is meant to prepare you for quizzes and tests. :/

Because one missed question and you get an automatic C. Plus, I much prefer less test anxiety and homework instead.

Same, I hate having to worry so much for a quiz that I have no clue what he's going to quiz us on. He gives us multiple topics

Yeah... I'm pretty sure a bunch of people would rather have that.

Ehhhh, I also dislike homework. But I wouldn't want to get 1 wrong and get a 75%.

Yep. Same.

Yeah. Homework is supposed to prepare you for quizzes and tests. He tells us to review lecture notes. Plus, he prints out these lecture notes off the internet rather than telling us. Sure he clarrifies our questions, but still...

im so glad im done high school lol

college next fall though for culinary arts... *bites nails* practical application, homework, quizzes, tests, exams... yea, im scared all over again!! *hides* o.o

To me the problem sounds like he is giving the quizzes way too many points compared to other assignments. Sounds like a badly made curriculum. And the no hw thing is crap, cause you'll still need to study for the quizzes everyday.

Homework is better. Since you also have more time to do it, check over it, and over all get a better grade

Yeah, I wish I had more time to study it

Yeah. Before with homework, he just spot checked it to make sure we did it. Now, he's actually having to grade our things in terms of right and wrong.

....so you're taking quizzes because he's too lazy to grade your homework right? I'm sorry, but your teacher is awful.

Eh, I don't disagree with you. My teacher is awful.

I would rather have homework because my teachers give you an A on your homework as long as you so it, even if you got every question wrong.

it depends. really.
