Xehanort wasn't who we thought he was?

Posted

This is a theory I literally just came up with after reading about the extended trailer. The Xehanort scene presumably takes place in the past, and I think it's when all the apprentices lost their heart (Ienzo and Even falling on the ground unconsciously). Braig asks Xehanort what was he going to do about "The Heart", and then asked him did he get his memories back. Xehanort responds by summoning his Keyblade.

To me, this is proof Xehanort was faking his amnesia to a degree. For what reason, I cannot be sure of, but this scene is proof enough. When Braig asked him about "the Heart", I think he was referring to Terra's heart. In the scene in the trailer, Xehanort falls down along with Even and Ienzo, so I think he did something to himself that involves the heart inside of him. Could he have possibly removed the "Terra" part of his heart? Some of you may not agree with this, and try to counteract with Xemnas being Terra like etc. But who is to say he was Terra like? What if this is something Nomura wanted us to think?

It is known that Xemnas was looking for Ventus, and we automatically assume that it was because he was Terra's friend. But what if his intentions for finding Ventus was something more evil related than "saving his best friend". Xemnas also referred to Aqua's armor as "old friend", but after rewatching that scene I noticed Xemnas said it almost sarcastically.

I don't know, these were just some thoughts I had, I'm not saying any of this is correct, these are just the first thoughts I got when I saw the new trailer description. Feedback is welcome, flaming is not.

It'a possible but with Xemnas it really could still be Terra influencing him. With Xehanort that sounds likely but could of he been without memories and somehow during the time with Ansem gain them back?

Possible. Messing with our heads is not unheard of. I this is true then it begs a question: Where is Terra's heart?

That's the one thing we can't seem to find if it's true. Where did it go if he as the memories? Maybe Ansem also got Terra's along with Xehanorts. Maybe it's in the darknesss. Or it could of laid dormant in Xemnas.

Well the sacasm in Xemnas voice when he called Aqua friend could be do to him having no real heart remember the guys an emotionless drone with few memories.

As far as Xemnas goes, because he's a nobody made from Terra's body and nobodies are mostly memories, it makes sense that he'd have some influence from Terra. As for the rest...IDK. I still don't really get why he faked amnesia or took Ansem's name--maybe just to mislead everyone?

Or, for all we know, it was really Terra getting ready to kick Xigbar's ass. again. lol

Maybe instead of Terra's heart leaving his body, he somehow locked it away inside of him...either way Terra probably was out of the picture during AX's later years. Something else I kinda thought about: When AX first became an apprentice, he was pretty mild mannered and intelligent. Maybe when he regained his memories is when all these ideas about the heart and darkness started to come to him. Just a thought.

Xemnas wasn't completely without emotion though. He was overzealous and passionate about the creation of Kingdom Hearts, that's emotion. The whole "Nobodies don't have emotions" thing can be argued against. I can give you an example. Most Nobodies show despair when they are fading away after they have been defeated. Despair is an emotion. I believe that Nobodies are simply in self denial of their emotions because they lack a heart in the first place, and they believe that only people with hearts can "feel".

You might be right about the emotion thing...uhh Nobodies sure are troubled creatures...

Okay guys, I'm starting to piece all my thoughts together bit by bit. This might also explain the Terra/Xemnas thing.

This is essentially an add on to my theory lol.

Xehanort, putting Terra away somewhere, somehow, regains a bit of his memories in that one scene but not all of them. He summons the keyblade instinctively but doesn't know what it is, because he still doesn't have all of his memories. But slowly gaining them back (note: I am talking about MX's memories), AX starts to remember about the hearts and the darkness, the things MX talked about. Eventually he found out exactly what a Keyblade was, and remembered that he had his own, so he used it to open the door to Radiant Garden. He eventually fell to darkness, and split into Ansem/Xemnas. When this happened, however, he stopped gaining his memories.

Xemnas tried to use Aqua's armor to regain his memories, but instead of gaining MX's memories, he gains some of Terra's instead because the armor recognizes Terra's body. He then remembers his friend Ventus, and the armor tells him where Ventus is, so Xemnas tries to find him. That's all I've got so far, I'll probably think of more things later.

Not bad but we still got the thing about where the heck Terra's heart is SK3.

That's exactly what I thought about after I posted lol. Terra's heart was still apart of Xehanort's overall heart, I believe, but Xehanort's heart started to engulf it. But when Ansem left Xehanort's heart inside of RIku, and when DiZ's machine cleansed Riku, Terra's heart stayed inside but Xehanort's heart was kicked out for good.

It fits but I still think it somehow became a part of Xemnas. I mean it could of laid dormant in Xemnas also influencing him a bit as well......

Im thinking mabe it's with Riku, the reason I say that is cuz Numora has said that a part of Terra is with Riku, but then again the thought of Riku having 2 hearts sounds wierd, so who knows mabe that was a way of messing with our heads to. so then there lies another question: if a part of Terra is inside Riku which is it? his heart, Memories or something else?

Xehanort, as we all know, started off as a mild mannered apprentice with some knowledge, but without any memories. However, I believe the scene described in the trailer was the first time Xehanort and the apprentices dabbled with in the darkness. Now what exactly did this do to him?

I was thinking maybe the "Terra" part of him somehow got swallowed by the darkness. By this I mean MX's heart and the darkness within Xehanort's heart altogether basically overshadowed Terra's influence in Apprentice Xehanort. When that part of Terra was shut out, Xehanort woke up and instinctively summoned his Keyblade. I don't think he knew exactly what he was doing at this point, but a bit, just a bit of MX's memories had come back to him here. Over time, MX's memories began to come more and more. Xehanort started to question about the heart and the darkness within it. He eventually relearned about the Keyblade, and remembered that he had his own. So what did he do? Opened the door to Radiant Garden.

Soon after this more and more of MX's memories started flooding in, and Xehanort started to become more like him. However, when his heart falls to darkness, the memories stop flowing. Ansem SoD gains MX's clothes because the amount of MX's memories Xehanort had when his heart fell to darkness. Xemnas also retained some of those memories. However, he feels he does not remember enough. Aqua's armor begins to speak with him, recognizing Terra's body (and sense there was no heart inside of it, did not suspect that it was MX without some of his memories). The armor's magic gradually begins to restore memories to Xemnas, however these aren't MX's memories being restored. These are Terra's, because the armor believes Xemnas IS Terra.

The armor tells Xemnas about Ventus and where he is, and Xemnas goes to find him, because he vaguely remembers him as his friend. Over time, Xemnas began to grow on both MX's and Terra's memories, leading him to become the Xemnas we know today

Basically my theory, rewritten to fit all of my thoughts.

in what scene dose MX fall down with Even & Ienzo? & which scene dose Xemnas reffer to Aqua's armor as "old friend"? I watched the trailer on the site & I didn't see any of these scenes happen.

Good catch.

After watching the HD trailer, the first half of this theory is completely invalid. Xehanort is a troll, a firetrucking troll.

We just gotta wait for the "shocking ending" Nomura told us about in KH3D. Then maybe our questions can be answered...

Nomura= DA MAN.

Screwing our heads on the wall once more...
