Heroes and Dragons: Is there such thing as Good Vs. Evil?

Posted

Well is there such thing as Good & Evil? I really don;t think there is not. As Joesph Campbell once stated that calling villains he called them Dragons.I Really don;t think so. Because usually from the "dragons perspective" they think they are doing good, and the right thing. Vise-Vesa for the "Hero". If anything it seems like this world is more gray then black or white. Are we simply conditioned to like certain other races then others? Why are we taught about this so called "good" & "evil"?

I would love to know what you all think.

Uhh. congratulations on realizing the world isn't simple enough for there to be good or evil?

I guess.

It's how our brain analyzes situations that we find 'evil'. Evil and good don't exist.

ummm there are some villains that are doing the wrong thing and they know it but yeah "there is no good or evil, but thinking makes it so"

Good and evil depends on the who's side your talking about as they see the enemy as evil and themselves as good.

A better name for the conflict between two or more things would be X vs X depending on the situation or at least that's how I view conflicts.

I love your answers so far. :) well of course theres soem people that do bad things, but what about the dragons point of view? like skyEmerald said X vs. X

Not if you're pragmatic.

Well, in my point of view, everyone are good or evil depending of their life choices.
