Okay, does anyone else find it odd that the first trailer (the one that announced the game) was never released? I mean, is there a chance at all that it might be leaked somewhere? Seeing how popular KH is, I find that hard to believe that no one recorded the trailer.

 

And, once again, I don't understand why Square never released this trailer when they have the others.

 

Here's a summary of the first 3D trailer if you've forgotten, or never heard about it:

 

"The trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3D begins with Sora and Riku sitting by a Paopu Tree on Destiny Islands. Riku then disappears in a flash of light. Sora begins to call out for his friend and searches for him around the island. The trailer then displays gameplay at this point, and Sora shown to be able to use the Glide ability.

 

The trailer reverts to another cutscene, with Riku waking up in Traverse Town. He walks into a courtyard only to be attacked by several Heartless, looking up into the sky to see several unconscious Soras raining down from above. One lands and summons the Keyblade, fighting off the Heartless while the trailer displays more gameplay. A Soldier-like enemy then rises from the ground, but before Sora has a chance to fight the foe, he snaps awake to find himself sitting next to Kairi near the Paopu Tree. The night sky is shown, and the game's logo appears on the screen at this point."

 

Also, isn't the trailer where the pic of Sora facing the Twilight Thorn (and maybe some of the other 3D pictures) came from?

Yep. I'd like to see it, too. At least the scenes that haven't been shown. Who cares if they're not updated, right? Hopefully they'll be in another trailer...

 

In all honesty, I'd nearly forgotten until someone asked if Kairi would be in 3D. I then remembered she was at the end of this trailer that never got released, and here we are. LOL.

yea, i would definitely like to see it! like everyone else said, it sounds interesting. and i actually do wonder if Kairi will be anywhere in DDD? im thinking no just because she was barely in KH2. all she said was flip her hair and giggle. she wasnt too important to the story, so im thinking we'll be seeing less of her. (im NOT a kairi basher.. but it seriously made me annoyed that she did nothing in KH2 lol she was kinda useless)

i think kairi will be in DDD but have no idea what kind of role she will play. anyway back to the thread yea i was wondering about that other trailer to but it doesnt really matter nothing in those two trailers were canon anyway so it doesnt matter still i would have liked to see that trailer

LOL. I didn't think Kairi was that bad in KH2. She was a little less blunt, and at least she tried to fight and stuff. But she is being in the games less and less. She was in two cutscenes in Re: Coded (though the one was almost the same as KH2's epilogue, and the other was a memory where she was comatose).

 

She had some scenes in BbS, but none with Sora and Riku. She wasn't in Days at all...

 

I really want Kairi to be important again. I liked her role in KH1, and I think it's sad what they've done with her character. Especially since Nami is mighty important, and Xion's more important than her... gah! They pretty much are her. Why can't the original be important?!

 

Anyway, I'm hoping she's in 3D more. She was, after all, going to be in the 3D demo made for BbSFM they scrapped...

True. Very true. But I imagine she'll be in the game somewhere. It wouldn't be a true test for Sora and Riku without her. After all, much of what they do is for her.
