In Birth by sleep theres a weapon called the X-blade and SPOILER it is two kingdom keys with a heart. And Sora got a kingdom key and mickey got a different one. What does this mean

Well, Sora's Kingdom Key and Kingdom Key D, Mickey's, do represent the Light and Dark realms respectively. Light and Dark together merged to form the X-Blade, but... both are the silver, Sora, normal Kingdom Keys and not one of each. *shrug* So, really, means nothing.

 

Interesting slightly related factoid:

That's the insignia of the (Catholic) papacy. Two keys -- one gold, one silver, like Kingdom Key D and Kingdom Key -- crossed and connected at the bottom, representing the power to bind and loose everything in heaven and on earth. Each key has a cutout of a cross in place of its teeth, kind of like the Kingdom Key's crown cutout. The two keys themselves are known as the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.

 

I'm surprised no one commented on this. Definitely pretty interesting. If this is in fact where Nomura drew inspiration (which it seems he very likely did), then we can say with some level of confidence that the KK and KKD are, perhaps, components (or rather, fragments) of the χ-blade.

i dont think vanitas will wake up too, cause ven won back his darkness from him. it is possible that xehanort could try to recreate him in future.

(Watch out for double post) Technically the X-blade was never truly forged since Vanitas' and Ven's fusion was never completed

Oh yeah you're right.. I forgot that x-blade was incomplete back then but because ven and vani fusion never complete, vanitas technically still "vanitas" right?or he already become one again with ven?

Vanitas was destroyed along with the X-blade; As a result, Ven's broken heart should have disappeared, but instead it merged with Sora's. There's really no reason that the same couldn't happen to Vanitas.

 

And to all those people who said it means nothing that the X-blade, something that exists alongside Kingdom hearts and has the ability to unlock the door into kingdom hearts, just HAPPENS to be made of the same keyblade as the main character who is always being told he will open a door...you people are stupid. lol jk but seriously. Think about it.
