tutti frutti. This mostly popped into mind from something I used to have a habit of doing, since Halloween is right around the corner. For anybody that has watched the movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas," did you ever watch the movie around Halloween and/or Christmas? It's not often you see a character from one holiday trying to take over another another holiday. But nonetheless a great movie. Did you ever have this habit?

The funny thing about this movie is that it's too cheery for Halloween, but too creepy for Christmas. I still like this movie, my favorite song being "What's this?".

I'm pretty sure I watched it both on Halloween and on Christmas one year... But usually I just watch it on or around Halloween. Despite what a lot of fans say, I think it's predominantly a Halloween movie. Santa Clause is in it, but most of his screen time is when he's captured by Oogie Boogie. When Jack gives presents to everyone, the presents attack the kids. Not very fuzzy-warm or Christmasty, if you ask me. Of course, there is the part where Jack sings about how happy he is in Christmas Town, and the part where Santa sets everything right in the end, but those parts probably take up less than 1/4 of the movie, whereas the "Halloweeny" parts take up at least 3/4 of it. And that is why I think The Nightmare Before Christmas is mostly just for Halloween. :)

I'm yet to watch it..........

I love the movie (and the music!) but Halloween isn't really a thing here, and we don't really do Christmas either, so yeah...

I use to watch on both holidays when I was little. I haven't watched the movie in over a year. Im glad I bought the vid. :)

I watched it, but not near Halloween or Christmas xD The music is amazing though!

I watch it on both Halloween and Christmas......and Easter and whenever other time I feel like watching it. I love it!

I love that movie.
