Check out the quality of our Kingdom Hearts, English cutscenes!

Remember to watch it in HD 720p if you can.

DChiuch and Aaron recorded these during the live stream. And as you can their in fantastic quality. DChiuch extended the frame window to allow more of the scene to be seen. At times you can really see something new. Sadly they were not able to get a 'no subtitles' code. But extending the frame window and HD 720p is plenty.

You can check at out more of these at the wwwkh13com channel.

Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Why can't this be in 1080p or is it you guys can't handle that?

I've never seen a Youtube video before with KH1 cutscenes in that high quality. It's beautiful to look!

agreed

When recording in 720p, the game runs at 2/3 of the speed and the files are about 100GB/hour (for my own local copy, before I reduce the size and upload it). If I was to record in 1080p, it'd be a much slower process and the files would be much bigger... which would be pretty inconvenient.

It affects other people as well, because if I uploaded a 1080p version rather than 720p, we'd either have to settle for a lower bitrate (less quality per frame), or a higher filesize. So I think 720p is a better balance.

Also, I don't really think the web is ready for 1080p yet. Sure, a lot of people are, but then a lot of people's computers couldn't really handle watching 1080p video files (it'd appear laggy or jumpy-- I even get this watching 720p files on my netbook), and on YouTube you almost definitely wouldn't notice the difference (unless you watch full screen).

Amazing.
