Was coded really worth that much fuss?

Featured Replies

It was more than just that. It revealed that Sora has the memories of Terra, Aqua, Ven, and Xion in his heart, and it was to help test Sora to see if he was ready to accept their memories and the pain they brought.. That way, it'll be easier mend their hurting, like Xions was just to be remembered.

I personally hated Re:coded lol I felt it was unnecessary... but again, people would argue with me on that. I didn't like de-bugging the worlds and I just didn't like the overall feel of the game. It's definitely the first KH game I truly didn't like and was disappointed with. And it ended too quickly and it was so like, random?.. it was just quick and didn't feel finished. Like it felt really rushed. I just personally didn't like the game at all. Felt it really wasn't needed.

I like it from a side and hate it from a side but it's a cool game though.

I only bought it for the gameplay and not the story. :)

(this was way before I bought the awesomeness that was known as birth by sleep :D including its final mix )

i personally thought this game was worth it. let us see all the hurt that needs mending and plus the secret ending gave me goose bumps from anticipation of the next game (DDD) :D

plus the gameplay was good it felt more like a KH game.

tutti frutti. I for one would have to agree with waytothexdawnx to the fullest possible extent of what he/she had posted. To me coded didn't really feel like that it was needed in any way, shape or form. All of the major points could have been implemented in other games of the series. The secret ending could have been the intro to KH3D, and what Azure Flame mentioned about the pain and memories of those connected to Sora: Terra, Xion, Ven, etc; could have also been revealed in the secret ending of BBS + BBSFM, if not in another KH game. And on that note, I am going to stop here about the game. In short, some major importance, though not necessary.
