October 12, 201114 yr Because they can easily be tricked by strangers, who can rape and do really bad things with them? Because they can hurt themselves with knifes and etc... Because they are too innocent, and don't know what this world truly is?
October 12, 201114 yr The children are too young to have any idea as to what the real world is like; their parents have been around longer and should have more experience and are much wiser. Children haven't been educated fully enough to make the right decisions/they are still learning. Children are immature. Parents in most cases (but not always) give their children a shelter, food, clothes, etc. -- all they normally hope for in return is respect and for their kids to follow the rules to keep the family in order.
October 12, 201114 yr If we dont obey them, how would we know right from wrong? How would we know when it is best to sleep, work, or play? How would we learn?

October 12, 201114 yr The bond between parents and children is unique and unlike any other. The children grow up and the parents are the first bond the kid will form. A little kid depends on their parents and trusts them like no one else. The parents do what they think is best for their children (normally that is, of course there are other "parents" but that is a different story). When the kid grows into a teenager, he starts thinking for himself and maybe questions the decissions the parents make for them. But whatever and I mean really whatever the children do, for parents their child is always priority number one and for that as their kid u should have faith that they only have your best interest in mind. So in short children have to obey their parents, because they are their parents.^^
October 12, 201114 yr What if your grandpa died and his spirit went inside his son's kid and took over his body forever. Does that mean the grandpa possessing the kid has to listen to his son?
October 15, 201114 yr *If you're religious, then it's in the Bible to respect your parents. (Just got back from a Bible study where we specifically talked about this ) *They're more experienced. Imagine you're going to climb Everest. Would you want a guide who was well-trained and knew what they were doing, or someone young and inexperienced? *Things just work. Simple as that. Things would in the end be really bad if children didn't obey their parents. For instance, when I was little, I wanted nothing more than to drive the car. A five-year-old girl driving a big truck? Can you really see this ending well?
