Taking place many years after the latest events in the KH series, the worlds are attempting to join back together. Without guidance, however, it is a misshapen process, melding things together that shouldn't touch. In this chaos the Unbound are born, feeding on it and driving entropy. A young man who can see the connections underlying all things searches for allies to help him right the worlds and reach the heart of all, Kingdom Hearts, to create a bright future for them all.

No god modding unless relevant to the story line (send me a message and I'll probably accept it)

No taking control of other people's oc's unless given consent

Let's keep it PG-13 or below, shall we?

No killing other people's characters without their permission

No ending or starting sequels to this without my permission (I'm a pretty laid back guy, though)

Make each post long enough to be worth reading

Try your best to avoid spelling and grammar errors

Don't bash other people's work

 

Note:

You may control a total of two oc's but only if you think you can handle it. Be sure to note who's perspective you're writing from.

You may be on the side of darkness, but only two or three of those characters. (Secret intentions are also welcome)

Worlds from Kingdom Hearts and all Square Enix projects are acceptable as home worlds for your character and you may have connections to whomever you like, but you must use an oc.

Remember that other weapons aside from Keyblades exist, and therefore could be used by your character.

I strongly encourage out of the box thinking, especially in designing your character!

Name- Augustus Concerto

 

Age- 18

 

Home world- Jylland of Ivalice (as seen in final fantasy tactics advance 2: grimoire of the rift)

 

History- The son of famous heroes, he was taken in by his Bangaa godfather, Gwil, when they died. Over the past 11 years he has developed many distinctly Bangaa traits such as his impressive strength, intensity in battle, and strong sense of honor. When the world began to change and the Unbound appeared he realized that he would need to put his born ability to good use to help make things right.

 

Bio- For no obvious reason August has always been able to see how things are connected to each other, and effect those connections, everything being connected to at least something. This has been counter acted by the fact that he cannot use even the most simple form of magic and that he has abysmal magic defense. He believes that this power is a part of the solution to the current problems and is on a search to find others to help him.

 

 

Personality- He is fairly quiet, not because he's shy, just because he'd rather listen than talk. He enjoys taunting enemies, however. He's fiercely competitive and although he doesn't enjoy hurting others, he isn't willing to stand idly by as they get attacked. He feels responsible for those he meets, and therefore assumes a leadership position.

"Ok, just make sure no one attacks me, i've had enough action for one day." said Lycor with a bit of sarcasm in the last point of what he said.

"Hahaha!" August laughed in spite of himself. He knew that it was a serious matter, but it just struck him funny. "Will do Lycor. No random attacks. If anyone tries it then I'll have to pull out Air Blast, a move I've been working on. Shouldn't do too much damage, but it'll knock them back quite a bit."

"Yeah, it'd probably do less damage then my 'Lycan Fury' attack, you saw what i could do with that move, although, i get weakened if i use it to much, i'm still trying to get stronger so it won't weaken me." said Lycor. "So, your really don't mind having a Lycan on your team?"

"Back in the Enchanted Dominion I used to hunt down monsters for a living. You, my friend, are no monster. You actually remind me of a story I once heard about a prince who was cursed to become a beast by a witch. He had done something to anger her, I'm a little foggy on that point, anyway he had to complete a certain task before the last petal on an enchanted rose fell or else stay a beast forever," August finished.

 

"You know, if I knew when and why you were cursed then maybe I could help out a little more."

(he'll tell the story of why he avoided going home on Halloween Town)

 

"I'll tell you this, the Unbound attempted to corrupt me, i escaped before it was complete, they only finished the form and dark magic, not the 'turn my heart into pure darkness' bit, i've been hunting the unbound ever since.....and i didn't know you knew about prince Adam, i went to his world about a month ago, ran into a couple of heartless there to." said Lycor.

"Hi Ethan. My name is TK. But I don't have time to talk. I have to save a girl named Aria from a mad doctor. You can feel free to join me if you want." TK told Ethan.

 

"Sure," said Ethan. "I'll help you look. I know you said you cannot talk, but wouldn't that be the best way to decide whether we should be allies? I work for an organization called the KCA. I've been separated from my friends who've been traveling with me. Mad doctor, sounds like you've got a similar problem as I. I can't recall his name, but the KCA fights underground against him. He's been brainwashing kids for ages. I was looking for a way to get back to Acedemia, but I took a wrong turn."

 

At the look of confusion on TK's face, Ethan explained.

 

"Did you think you were in Acedemia? Oh, well, this town, or place, is called Midgar, from a world called, uh, Planet."

"Then we need to get to Acedemia now! I have to save the lovely Aria! Leon, I summon you!" TK summoned Leon and Leon came there out of nowhere. "What is wrong? You can't find Aria?" Leon asked TK. "Leon, I need you to fly us to Acedemia. That is where Aria is being held captured. Ethan you are coming too. I will explained on the way there." TK told Ethan getting on Leon. Then Ethan hopped on Leon and they took off to Acedemia. Leon decided to play some travel music:

"Adam? Huh, I guess his name was Adam. My adoptive Aunt Snow told me that she heard the story from a friend of hers named Belle. They still try to keep in touch every once in a while, with both each other and a few of the other princesses. I never really thought of him as a real person before, though, just a story," August replied. "Anyway, I'm really sorry about the whole 'Unbound' thing. If we manage to do what Yen Sid said, however, we should be able to get rid of them for the most part, at least for right now."

Damion led Celeste out of the mansion, he thought about all the things that he could do with such a big house back home. He smiled at Celeste, then they mounted the motorcycle and took off. Just when they had almost reached town Celeste finally asked, "So, Damion...did you mean to leave your gun laying on the computer?" D: (Damion's face) "OH MY GOODNESS!!!! YOU HELD THAT IN THIS ENTIRE TIME?????", Damion asked franticly. He quickly spun the bike around, and kicked it into full gear.

 

They got back to the Mansion, and Damion grabbed his gun. But then he also remembered that there was another there at the mansion. So he left the errored computer. 'Whoever this guy is, he may be a big help to our cause,' Damion thought. The two of them then began to search the building for the man.

(OOC: I left a message with Iamkingdomhearts1000. If he doesn't rectify the situation within 24 hours then I will take it off of his hands for the time being. Note that he will not be kicked off, simply separated from the main storyline so that it can continue.)

Lycor was still conflicted on the thought of his home, but soon shook off the feeling. "So, who are we meetin before heading out?" asked Lycor.

"Remember Damion? He'll be there. Cain as well. Not to mention a new girl named Celeste. Who knows, they may have grabbed a few friends along the way too." August answered. Even though he had enjoyed the fast pace of the skate board from Radiant Garden and saw a number of them lying about in Twilight Town August was content to simply walk, glad to have a moment's rest.

"Oh yeah, i remember Damion,......you know, i've never really had friends before, by the way, have you ever heard any storys about Halloween Town?" asked Lycor to see what August knew about it.

"Not really. You said something about needing to save it earlier, so I take it that it's your home town?"

"You might say that, i have, to put it bluntly, a strong connection to it, i guess that creep figured that out, if he sent a heartless there, i'll kill him myself, the last thing he will see, is my shadow." said Lycor as his claws grew slightly longer dew to anger which you could hear in his voice.

"Lycor, if there are heartless there then we'll deal with it and we'll defeat him, but killing is no way to set things right. Those aren't the thoughts or actions of a man, but of a monster."

Lycor started calming down. "You're right, if i kill that guy in anger, i'm no better than the creatures who turned me into this abomination, stll, sometimes i can't control my rage an things.....happen." said Lycor.

"No worries," August said as he patted Lycor on the back, "we'll take care of this curse and you'll be back to normal in no time. Besides, I'll be here to make sure you don't do anything you'll regret."

Ethan sized up Leon.

"Wow, that's a new one," he said, but happily complied and mounted the pegasus.

As they were soaring away from Midgar, Ethan chose to strike up a conversation.

"So I came to Midgar after hearing of a legendary swordsman who lived there. He carried a 9ft sword. What was his name? Sem, Sec, Seph..."

Just then, a blue blade sliced at Leon. His two riders fell off and into the world below.

They landed on a bridge next to a castle (Enchanted Dominion). The blue Unbound floated over them. It had a long sword and looked humaniod.

"That's not who I was talking about!" Ethan said. "He looks tough, but we can take him!"

"Thanks man, it's good to have an ally that doesn't call on an angry mob when they see this form, that's happened 3 times." said Lycor. "4 if you count when Gaston's lacky and a few villagers came after me."

Just as he realized what had happened, Leon came rushing and came out with his Sword of Horses. "Master, I got this one." Leon said with the sword in his mouth. Leon slash the Unbound and killed it with one strike. "So you now have a sword. Awsome Leon! But where are we Ethan?" TK asked looking around.

"I think we're in-" his voice trailed off as he looked around.

But the blue light from the Unbound glew brighter and it reformed.

"Geez luise!" Ethan exclaimed, drawing a gunblade. "I'll take ,him down!"

Ethan fired a few shots at it. The Unbound disappeared and reappeared right behind Ethan. Ethan spun around and transformed his gunblade into two long knives and slashed right through it. The blue orb of light reappeared.

"I've got an idea," Ethan said, and held his hand up to the light. Just before he could absorb it, the Unbound reformed.

"Drats, we need to weaken it more!" Ethan shouted.

(OOC: Okay, Xeveemon, I don't think you quite understand the point of intimidating enemies. They are supposed to take a while. My boss fight post from before still holds true.

 

Quick note: Any "boss" character or challenge, whether Heartless, Unbound, or other, should be treated as an actual challenge. At the very least a boss should score at least one major hit on the character or characters fighting it or two smaller blows on them. A minimum of ten hits is required to successfully defeat a boss, and only two hits are allowed per post. This isn't to make things hard, it's to make things interesting. Any fight not following these rules will be asked to be edited. Thank you, and happy role playing!

(Gotta admit I tried to ammend sorta, but it didn't work though! lol)

 

The Unbound slashed again, and Ethan parried with his knives. Jumping back, he summoned four daggers that flew at the Unbound, scarring it. Ethan dove forward, now with a small katana and slashed through it, but it reformed faster and shot a blue fog at Ethan. Ethan was blinded.

 

"Hey TK!" he shouted. "Hurry up and absorb it's light once it's down!"
