Not in my experience. And even if they can, I have never seen one unlock a door.

Well, since my house is less than a minute walk from my tool shed, I would just everything in there and go into the house. I would get as much water, canned food (and can opener ), and blankets as I can and stow away in the attic. I'll grab the machete on the way (in my dad's room).

If I was stuck in a tool shed for the zombie apocalypse I would probably die. But my body would be reanimated and be hungry for human flesh so that's pretty cool
