I came back to this website, and I'm in need for advice. My friend has to apply to Punniho and Iolani in Hawaii. I live in California and I'm wondering what to say to her. Should I just keep my composure, or should I just really tell her how I feel about this? I mean, I hope she does whatever is best for her, but I would be really sad if she were to move to Hawaii.

You should both have a discussion(in a friendly like manner)and talk about it.Dont just come out and say it, but leave a trail of breadcrumbs leading up to the discussion.Hope this helps!

Say what you want to say to her from the red veins of your heart.

tell her how you feel, you will regret it if you dont

Cool, thanks!

GO TO HAWAII WITH HER! I would

A)Just tell her how you feel

or

B)You could come up with a lie like 75% of people who move to Hawaii die from Sharks or coconut trees then tell her just to stay in California so she doesn't die and when she talks about Hawaii you squirt water in face and say no Hawaii for you.

Although as much as I would like to, Hawaii being a great place and my friend might be going there, it's just not affordable.

A sounds pretty good, but I'm just afraid of sounding like a selfish person.

B, she's the smartest person in the school. I'm pretty sure that she would see through that lie right away.

Tell her the truth. I'm sure girls appreciate the truth more than a lie.

true . . . but sometimes it's hard

Tell her how you feel, but don't go over the top. You don't want to guilt trip her into staying in California for your sake and have her regret it later. Just tell her that you'll support her in whatever she chooses (because you want what's best for her, right?), but also let her know that you'll miss her if she decides to leave. I hate to say it, but you may just have to let her go in this instance. An opportunity to work in Hawaii is absolutely amazing. Then again, she might decide it's not what she really wants. You just need to find a balance between being too timid and laying on too much guilt.

Just girls? :P

Give her a diamond ring! jk just do what everyone said

The problem with my school (and maybe America as a whole) is that the top people would fall for that.
