Have you ever heard of the School? You probably have, since that's the humiliating laboratory you've grown up in. Have you ever understood the concept of normal? Normal isn't real, to you. All around you are strange, hybrid creatures produced by the School. The lupine-human combination that makes Erasers, and then a series of other odd half-and-halfs. But you're one of the most special of all these hybrids. You're one of the school's greatest successes, an avian-human mix. And while you're prized, you life isn't worth much here. That's why it's time to find the other winged-freaks and escape.

- In this RP, spelling and grammar are a must. A few mistakes here and there is fine, but I need you to seriously make your English teachers proud and type like you're serious. It's not that hard and makes everyone else's life easier.

Starting Point:

Currently, all six characters have just flown away from the School, and are flying towards who-knows-where, discussing there daring escape and beginning to figure out what to do.

Unbelievable. That word kept repeating itself in Hope's mind. I did it! Free! Unbelievable. It was an indescribably beautiful feeling to be soaring unrestrained through the air for the first time. She spared a glance for the other flying freaks. She didn't known who they were, but if they were trying to escape, too, then Hope didn't have a problem with them.

"I'm Hope," She announced, scanning them warily. "Who are you guys?"

Roxas smiled at her. "The ones who followed you." He looked around him, making sure everyone was with him. Roxas flapped his wings, catching up with her. Roxas's wingspan was 4.9 feet. Around the size of a child's height. "My name's Roxas." He looked ahead of them. "Where do you suppose we go then?" He said, leaning to his side to get a good look at her, folding his arms in a you-better-tell-me-soon kind of look, because he was a little worried about the Erasers.

V. That was all he knew. "I'm...V." He muttered. He felt stupid. He was stupid, wasn't he? He hated himself. He had a single letter for a name, because those scientists didn't have the time or money to give him a proper one. He flew on with the group. He doubted they even cared about him. Just like the scientists. He was useless. All he was good for was staying in the back, being out of the way. V continued these thoughts darkely.

Hakura streched out her wings as she flew away from that horrible nightmare called the school that she never wanted to re-live again. Ah, she thought, it felt like forever since i've gotten a chance to be in the sky. Sayonara you jerks. She looked up and saw others just like her, with wings and are escaping from the school. "I'm Hakura." she said to the girl that asked for her name. Although she escaped, Hakura feels that her and everyone else here will end up back there.

"Okay," Hope nodded, and tried to remember which name went with which face. She turned back to Roxas. "Where to go? I don't know," She blushed slightly. "I really didn't think about anything other than trying to get out of there. "Well, I guess the first step would be to figure out where exactly we are." She noted, glancing around. "It's really hot and sandy. A... desert. Where would a desert be?" Hope strained to remember something, but no one had ever taught her geography.

"Yeah. It's a desert." said Roxas. He flew down close to the sand, scattering it up like a helicopter floating near water. His wings felt like they'd been stretched in a taffy puller, because they've been flying for so long. But at least they were free. Roxas favored the sand hitting his face. Warm and dry. He had never felt that in the school. He rose back up to the flock, went higher up into a cloud, breaking through it like cotton. He flew back down through it and leveled back near Hope. "Yeah." he repeated, wiping sand off of his face. "It's a desert."

I look around at the others. "Uh I'm Angle, Angle Pace." I look ahead of free finally free and safe to. It looks like me and 1 2 3 4...5 other are with me. I jerk out of my thoughts. "Uh maybe South America." I'm blindly flying. I look over to the one called V. I fly over to him. I pat his back and look him in the eyes. "I can tell that you have something on your mind what is it, please tell me I can't stand to see someone hurt or feeling bad." I smile at him. "You said your name was V, right?" I say as I hover next to him.

I look around at the others. "Uh I'm Angle, Angle Pace." I look ahead of free finally free and safe to. It looks like me and 1 2 3 4...5 other are with me. I jerk out of my thoughts. "Uh maybe South America." I'm blindly flying. I look over to the one called V. I fly over to him. I pat his back and look him in the eyes. I say as I hover next to him.

Never mind, I looked back in on the sign ups. You're fine.

"Ah!" V said, startled. He backed away from the girl, frieghtened. He looked at her. She probably wanted to trick him. Like the Eraser did back at the School. He edged away, floating somewhat from the group. Why? Why am I so alone? He thought. He looked at the others. They seemed to have good intentions. But he doubted it. V felt like crying.

A desert, Hakura thought, i hardly know what that is. She flew up near roxas and hope. "If that's a desert, then it must be big, like a sea, so we would get to any hard ground in a while." she said. Her stomach growled and she frowned. That's right, she thought, those guys in lab coats hardly feed me and they mostly stuck needles into my skin. "We need to get out of this desert."

Hope twirled a strand of her dark brown hair absentmindedly. "South America? Are there deserts there? There was a flag... I think we're in the US." She squinted, noticing V edge away fearfully. Hope waved her hand. "Hey, don't be afraid, we're not scary." She stared ahead, and picked up something bright. "I think there's... there's some sort of town ahead. It's really bright," It was probably around five o'clock, and getting dark, but city lights beckoned from ahead. Hope's eyes lit up excitedly. "I've never seen a city before!"

Roxas flew over to V, and set his flight path next to him. "Hey, V. Don't be so worried. We're together now. I promise, we will never try to trick you or stabyou in the back. There's no reason to avoid people without giving them a chance. And...I can understand why you fell that way...I saw that Eraser trick you too. I'm sorry, but that can't change whatever bond we can or will form. Just give us a chance, okay?"

He heard Hope's voice from the head of the pack. He flew next to her and saw the city. "So...that's a what a city looks like." He said, looking at the buildings and lights. "Not what I imagined, but, I guess I'm in no place to complain." He said.

The quiet mysterious scar finally said something to the band of runaways "Hey, name's Scar." He didn't talk to anyone at the school really, or anyone who's ever encountered him. He has no idea who all these people are, but as long as he's with them, he might as well help. The bright Sun was one of his mortal enemies, but as long as he wore his glasses while outside, he would be able to see. And especially being in the desert making the Sun even brighter.

But the unknown city would deem a good place to stay for the time being. Allowing it's big buildings to provide shade for him.

V quietly nodded. Perhaps these people were right. They truly did seem to have light in their hearts. "Ok.." V said. He tried to smile, to show his courage, but all he had was emptiness. "I...I think we're near a place called...Hue....Hue....stun...Huestun." V mumbled, remembering the various conversations the scientists had, thinking V couldn't hear, or didn't think he had the proper attributes to understand them.

"Ok, so we'll land but we have be to careful. I don't think other people there have wings like us. Come on!" she said, folded in her wings and started diving towards the city. This is soo exciting, she thought, i've never been in a city before, only in a cage. She landed on her knees and rubbed the ground, like a valuable treasure. Hakura's knees felt like rubber from the long flight. she looked up at the others and saw them starting to land

Parabelle had remained silent as everyone else introduced themselves, soaking all the names in. The shining desert sun casted a slight glare in Parabelle's vision. Everything he saw enthralled him. The world was so bright. Even if all that layed on this world was of this yellow material, Parabelle was happy. Happier than ever before. He was trapped like an animal in the school and here, the world was opened to him. Eventually he saw the others descend, and he followed suit. Seeing the massive steel structures of the city pierce throught the air filled Parabelle with anticipation.

"Whoa, whoa clam down I've hurt a thing ever." I look at V who looks like there on the verge of tears. I feel stupid now. I sigh well while I was ment to be a wepon I had never hurt any one. I smile and wipe away some tears. Crying again, back at School at the end of each night I had cried my self to sleep. I hadn't been aloud to form bonds either. I look at V "You mean Huestun , Teaxs?" I shake my head and sigh again. I was what the scientists called emo. I land on the ground fold my wings in.

Roxas smiled and laughed lightheartedly. He gazed at the ones flying with him. "Houston? Yeah. We're in Texas." Roxas smiled at V. The reason Roxas was intelligent is because he used to disguise himself as one of the scientists and read things over the internet or via their database. It was simple, he never got caught. Dressed like that, he may have had the opportunity to escape, but he always decided better of it. He'd rather do it with his friends. Then, he heard dirt being shuffled. He turned around, and saw the sand moving. It was like a giant butterknife was being stabbed through the sand. "I wonder what that could be." Roxas said warily as he landed.

"So we finally get to know your name, eh?" Hope laughed lightly. She'd never felt so... so free. She had to strain to hear V speak, his voice being so quiet. "Houston? I think I've heard that before too. One of the whitecoats said it was the nicest big city he'd ever been to." She followed Hakura's lead towards the ground, and tumbled head-over-heels on the landing. She rubbed the back of her head, which was throbbing from the impact. "Ow.. I guess I need to work on that." She scanned the city cautiously. "You know, maybe we shouldn't stop here. We're just wearing hospital gowns. We'll look different. And... and the wings. Even when I fold my wings they're still visible. Let's just keep going and find somewhere else. Let's avoid cities, there are too many people."

Scar lands onto the ground and immediately goes for cover in the shade. "I don't like being outside in the Sun. I can still hear you guys talk from over here." Under his pitch black glasses, his eyes are closed, he doesn't need them to see. He can hear everything, from distant chatter to the others wings flapping as they are landing. "I'll keep my ears out in case someone spots us or anything," he said trying to make a joke and make an attempt to form a somewhat friendship.

Roxas saw the sand shuffling stop suddenly, as if the thing burrowed underground. Must've been a sandworm, or something. Roxas thought, a little relieved. He walked further into the city, and it looked so new to him. Signs, billboards, the sound of honking cars. It never occurred to him that something like this could exist. He saw lights flashing around, various stores. He personally liked GameStop, what with it's flashy advertisements of its' games and such. He heard a deafening honk, and somebody was honking at him in their car. He turned to see the car, and thought it was a robot. He smiled, and held out his hand. The person rolled down the window. "Hey! Freak! Get off the road! And It's not halloween yet! Put them wings away!" Roxas noticed his wings were still out, and dashed away from the street, and folded in his wings. "Close one." he said, sighing in relief.

"Then where do we go?" asked Parabelle as he descended lightly to his feet. "My name is Parabelle by the way" he said to the group. Parabelle shifted his feet nervously. As much of a paradise this world was, he was a stranger. They all were. Hearing what the others had to say..... about being careful made him feel a sting of fear. He heard Scar step up and talk about how he'll be our ears. This reassured Parabelle a little and made him feel a bit safer.

Hakura looked down at her hospital gown and saw that Hope was right. "I guess you're right. We'll just stand out." She unfolded her wings a bit. "Couldn't there be an abandoned area somewhere?" she asked them. "And we got to look for new clothes too." she said looking down at her hospital gown and sighed. She looked at Roxas. "That guy was being a total jerk to you Roxas. I wonder if we all have to deal with that here."

"No, I was just being stupid. I remember reading now that Cars are not Robots." he said. He then looked to Hope. "And now what the hell are we supposed to do? Finding an empty place? In a place like this? And we can't get clothes without money. Money is a priority here."

Hope shifted nervously, but still followed the group. She couldn't be alone again. "Really, I don't think it's safe to be here. It's--It's scary, let's just go. We don't need to see a city. It's not such a big deal." She tried to convince the others to follow her away. She had a bad feeling about this, like something could go wrong at any second.

 

The worst part of being a mutant freak meant each had a special ability. Hers, sadly, was a wicked headache accompanied by a vision of the future. She shuddered, and the familiar feeling of a sparkling vision washed over her. Hope was still with the other hybrids, but they were all fighting. Fighting Erasers. Cars swerved around them, but most people screamed and ran. A car flashing red, white, and blue pulled up, two uniformed men wielding guns. Police? The vision faded, and the streets of Houston reappeared.

 

"The Erasers are coming," Hope gasped. "Let's go, let's go! Erasers!"

 

Her vision had come a split-second too late, because it was then she noticed a monster half-morphed. Nothing terrified Hope more than the Erasers, and she screamed. "They're here!"

I trun apon hearing someing stange. I see sand moveing around. "What's-" I get ineruppeted by Hope. "If your worrried about that then you should have planned ahead." I throw the gown off and spin around in my new outfit. I ran after Roxas. "Wait that place is a harzd. It's not safe in the city." I pause must be the smarted one here I ment being a wepon ment I had to be smart. I look at every one. I sigh and smile. "Every one we need to watch ours backs." I look at my fellow Schoolers. "Huh?" I turn and look.
