I was wondering how many of you guys got final fantasy 13? It seemed like Square thought they made a mistake by putting it on the Xbox, but I bought my version for the Xbox. Also, how many of you are getting the sequel? I wish they would make Versus for Xbox.

Heck yes I love Final Fantasy XIII!!!! I have it for PS3, and I'm DEFINITELY getting the sequel!

Yes, and I'm SO glad I got XIII! It's one of my favorite FF's, despite its linearity. The character development was just incredible, especially for Hope and Lightning. Serah's was a bit lacking in the first game, so I can't wait to see what they do in the second one with her. I'm gonna get that one for 360, just like I did with the first one. I hope they continue putting them out on 360, because PS3 is just too expensive for me, especially since you can't play PS2 or PS1 games on it anymore.

Yes to both, the graphics and story make up for the crappy gameplay, IMO. .

I have not yet played the game, but watched all the cutscenes on YouTube and loved the story. My dad has promised me he will buy me a PS3 if I keep up my good grades in school, and XIII will probably be the first game I buy for it. When I'm done, I'll buy XIII-2, and I'm definitely getting versus XIII!

After that, I'm planning to get the HD version FFX, then FF13 after that.

Maybe I'll manage to gulp some chunks of FF-shit over an extended period of time until I get my pizza. We'll see. If that happens I'll remember to make a thread about how my final opinion on this game is and if struggling through the bad part of the game was worth the good ending.
