The World Ends With You: After the first 7 days.

So for those of you who don't know what the world ends with you is, it's a video made by Square Enix for the Nintendo DS. It's a really great game, and the story goes that you have 7 days to end a game that you're in, or die.

Pretty simple right? Well I was fighting the boss on the last day, that I thought was the end of the game, and it turns out, that I have to redo another 7 days. This is not a glitch, it's part of the story line! I was soo mad because I thought I was done, but now it just feels like i'm crap!

For those of you who have played the game, what was your reaction to this? And people who haven't played it, don't worry I didn't spoil anything and you should get the game. lol

When I reached the first 7th day, I was mad because I thought that was way too short. Then I discovered that it went on another week. I was actually quite happy, as like I said, I thought it was too short before.

There's only 3 weeks with 3 different partners.

I think the game is awesome It gets really interesting at the end of the 2nd week to the end. If I remember right the 3rd week doesn't follow the mission per day thing as much so its not just mission after mission after mission throughout the game. It would be waayyy too short if the whole game was just that one week.

I was actually kind of excited. I was upset when I reached the seventh day the first time because I liked the game and wanted to keep playing. So to me, it was a good kind of surprise. You'll actually have fun, don't worry. (:

It definitely only repeats three times. You have three very distinct partners, I don't know where people got 5 weeks from. Technically, the story ends up spanning over four weeks, but it skips.

 

I wasn't offended or even that surprised by it not ending on day 7, since the first 7 days of the game took me about 8 hours to complete and that just didn't seem right. I was anticipating there being more, especially since, you know, I hadn't even MET Joshua yet and he was fairly prevelant on the cover. [shrug]

 

It picked up a lot for me the second week, since the partner makes things more interesting by being all suspicious and snarky- and the third week is where everything kind of comes to a head and things start to get resolved. It's incredibly fun, but watch out for Minamimoto/The Grim Heaper, without spoiling much, he ends up being a complete pain to beat.
