I've got a project in progress that I want to upload in full, but it is longer than 15 minutes. Does anyone know if it's possible to upload videos longer than 15 minutes to YouTube without giving a phone number?

Go to your youtube channel at the top there will be a couple buttons (post bulletins settings etc) click on settings then change channel type to director. You now can upload videos of any length

It should I have my settings like that you might not have instant acess though they might have to process it.

Oh you must also have had your channel for six months with no strikes

I thought videos over the 15 min mark are only available for Youtube partners.

Since you aren't one you should just split your video in half and upload two parts.

I'm not a partner I am able to upload video content of unlimited timeframes

Actually, after I posted 40 videos, it said I was qualified to upload 30 minute videos...

Just the other day I uploaded a video and it said that I could now upload videos over 15 minutes...

 

Either that or up to 15 minutes

I think after 50 videos and 50 subs you can, but I think you DO have to give a cellphone number.

There's a free texting app for iPod touch called Textplus and you get a phone number for the app. So if you have an iPod/phone/pad/android you could get that app and use that number.

My bad on grammer(In my defense I have written three ten page papers in in the last four days tired of grammar) I also have found out you can't have any copyrighted content on your videos or any strikes on your account. (Just found out you need to verify your account with you phone number) Sorry
