Ethan jumped down to the ground and gave the mechanical bug a disdained look. He then turned to the others. "If Aaron told you all the truth, you guys should know I'm not truly evil. But what this this bug thing is saying is right, hotspots always bring misery. Right now that misery is coming from a man named Darius who is forcing humans into mutants to create an army. I need help. Your help, if you would be so kind."

(Yay, rp isnt dead!)

Miki lowered her scythe and felt her wings shuddered. We nned to get rid of this thing before i lose it, she thought. Her hand went into flames and she looked around. Where's the person that's controlling that bug, she thought and closed her eyes to listen for them. Her flame died down a bit but her hand was still on fire. Miki looked up at the guy, ethan, and her flames dissapeared.

Skye moved her hand away from her pistol trying to relax herself.

" We are only here to help the people that have been effected by the magic here." She said looking at Ethan. She didn't quite understand what he was getting at. Skye looked at Miki to make sure she wasn't thinking of doing anything stupid. She rubbed one of her ears in thought and turned back to Ethan.

" If we were to help you with this Darius guy, the people would be safe again right?" She asked making sure she stood up for the poor people being mutated. She knew how awful it was to become almost a diffrent being. Skye silently cursed her ears.

Yuki then sees the mutated people, looking at them she thought that they may be kind of.... useful to her.

Yuki then ran towards an ally to find a place she could hide and not do her tricks in front of the group of kids. Then she transformed into a owl and flew quickly onto a roof and sat there. She hovered around the sky and looks at Miki, thinking she may be the perfect person for her.

Yuki then made a loud noise that sounds like a corrupted demon speaking.

As soon as the noise happened, the mutated people began going crazy and wild and attacked relentlessly.

"What the-?!" Miki said putting a finger to her temple, looking annoyed. She looked up to see some girl. Where the hell did that girl come fro, she thought and she finallopened her wings and deftly hovered up to her. "Mind telling me what's going on?" she said firmly to the girl, with her hands in her hips. It feels good to be flying again, she thought, but not in some cramped building

Yuki flew around and looked at Miki, and then giggles like a maniac a little. She doesn't talk... she pertends to convince Miki that she is just an owl flying around.

Yuki then begins to fly away super quick to get away Miki and tries to hide away!

She thinks to herself "How in the world did she figure out i was a human.... maybe im just thinking too much. She didn't say much!" Yuki began to fly downward and go through the many allys until she found an opened sewer to go through.

Miki lokked at the girl owl fly away and then she landed onto the ground. That was weird, she thought and looked over to Skye. "We need to go there could be others out there that needs our help." She said and sarted walking to the enterance. Before walking out, she turned around to look at her. "You coming??" She asked

Skye nodded and pulled out her pistol. She walked ahead of Miki keeping her pistol low so not to frighten any people.

" Ya lets go." She looked over at Shawn talking to the beetle guy, she decided he would be fine and kept walking. She looked around it seemed as empty as the rest of the town but she kept walking anyways.

" What gave you the feeling people are here?" She finally asked Miki not hearing anything.

Yuki got through a sewer then reverts back to its original self as a girl. Then sits down laying. She still thinks to her self saying while looking at the disgusting stream of water flowing down "How in the world did she know i was a girl? What happens if she find out im a actual person... that could ruin everything... i cant let that happen!"

Then Yuki summons her scythe. She stares at her weapon and then thought, "I guess I have to end her..."

Miki was walking. "I dont know. I just felt like someone was here or something...." she said. But where did that damn owl fly off to, she thought and sighed. Huh?!, she thought, someone's near, but who. Miki summoned her scythe and looked over at skye. "Do you have the feeling that we're being watched??"

Yuki then hears something down the tunnel. "Damn it" she thought in her mind and then transforms into a snake and starts slithering around on the floor.

She decides to go the oppisite direction of the girls so she can run away and think of an plan. But she believes she can kill her easily, but cant let the other one notice...

She slithered near the wall so it does not look that obvious she is there.

Skye looked around the area trying to focus on the surroundings.

" Not really. I mean who else would be here that doesn't need help?" She said shrugging. She didn't think survivors of the magic would be hesitant for help either, so if they were being watched, who ever it was they weren't friendly. Skye sighed and raised her gun a little justy incase she was right.

"I must be worrying or something." Miki said and sighed. Is my sensor power thingy acting up or what, she thought and looked around. "Is there even anyone here??" She asked. "This magic hotspot isnt such a hotspot. We haven't run into anything unusual in the streets." She looked over at Skye. "What should we do?"

Yuki then slithers ever more and more! Then she stopped and then turned into a cute little kitten form again... then she ran towards Miki and the others. She thought she could fool them, to even come close to them, close to Miki.... Yuki pretended to be a helpless kitten by having a cute kitten face and keeps on collapsing in front of Miki.

Yuki then looks at Miki, making a faint meow.

Skye pointed at a small figure running towards them.

" What the..." She started to say, then relaxed as she saw a kitten bounce into view. She lowered her pistol some but once again, wasn't going to take chances.

" Umm...." Skye really had nothing to say and looked at Miki for her reaction.

Miki looked at the cat and back at Skye. "There's cats wondering in a magic hotspot??" she asked. She looked back at the cat. I'm not really a cat person but it looks helpless, she thought, plus it doesn't even look injured. Miki squated down to get a better view of the cat but kept her distance. "The cat seems fine." she said to Skye. "So what is it doing in a place like this?"

Skye shrugs picking the cat up by it's scruff.

" It seems fine here." She said looking at it then back at Miki.

" Unless you want it." She said holding ti out to Miki. Skye even with ehr cat-like ears was no cat person, at all.

"Nooo, i'm good. besides, we can't have that cat with us. what if we run into something dangerous." Miki said. After all, she thought, the city is too quiet, something is bound to jump at us sooner or later. "Let's just leave the cat and keep going, we'll probably end up leaving her if the place is completely abandoned." Miki said and pushed a strand of hair out of her face. We're mutants after all, she thought, we have to keep moving

Yuki then got a sad face but hid the anger in her. She looked at them and telepathically said to Miki "Your a selfish brat, you honestly going to abandon everyone? Even an helpless kitten?" She made sure she did not trace it back to her and pretended to roll around and moan. She then limped over to them with sadness in her kitten eyes.

Miki looked back at the cat and her eyes widdened. That couldn't been Skye, she thought, she's not telepathic, but the only thing left is that cat in Skkye's hands. My mind must be playing tricks on me ,she thought, no wonder why they call it the magic hotspot. "Um Skye." Miki said "Let's continue our search." Miki's wings twitched. We need to hurry and finish scan this place before i finally lose it, she thought

Skye nodded and set the cat down.

" Ya lets get going." She said not giving the cat a second glance. They definatly didn't need another mouth to feed. Skye's ears twitched.

" Do you hear that?" She asked walking a little faster now toward what she thought were voices.

"Yeah." She said skimming the place as she walked. "I heard that too. What could it be?" Miki felt a slight vibration from the ground. "I dont get it. Nobody is here except for us and that cat. Whag could be causing that vibration." Miki put her palm on the ground. They're getting stronger, she thought

Yuki notices the vibrations on the floor and then got freaked out. She laid her paw on the floor to sense it but could not feel anything like Miki can. Yuki then ran toward Miki and try to do something to sense whats going on in her mind. But she couldn't read minds. She thought to herself " Why must everything be so complicating.... I think i might just make a run for it, or stay and see what happens." She pondered for a minute and made up her mind, she stayed to see what happens. But she has a feeling it may have something to do with her, but he hopes not. She tries to hold her energy together so she can think her signal is messed up again.

Shawn tried to get more information from the beetle, but it was being very contrary. He was about to give up when he picked up on Skye's voice, saying something about hearing something. How had he picked up on that? He wasn't trying to pick up on that. He did hear the beetle's speaker give off a small noise that could have been a chuckle.

"Your doing?" he asked, not thinking he needed to explain.

"Indeed." the person controlling the mech beetle said. "You need to focus on the town, not me. Like I said, not responsible for what happened here. Just looking to clean it up. Go and help your friends."

Shawn wanted to argue, but restrained himself and went after Skye and Miki.

One of the beetles eyes fixed on Ethan.

"You had best go as well, Ethan." it said. "People like that tend to stumble over problems and there solutions randomly."

Skye's ears twitched she turned and smiled as she saw Shawn coming their way.

" I thought i heard you." She said then her smile turned to a frown.

" Ya i can feel it too." She said as she knelt down closer to the ground. It was as if something huge had been sleeping and just woke up.
